Normally, from the 17th day of the lunar calendar every month, the ships and boats here go out to sea to catch seafood. On each long trip, each ship usually has 10 - 15 fishermen with enough food, medicine, ready to go out to sea for nearly a month. Each trip like that, the cost of each ship ranges from 150 - 300 million VND, but in return, if the boat is full of seafood, it will ensure the fishermen's life for many months. After nearly a month of fishing far from shore, the boats full of seafood will be anchored at Lach Quen fishing port and purchased right at the fishing port. Currently, Lach Quen fishing port has nearly a thousand ships docking and "resting".
