Nghe An Provincial Police establish Cyber Security Department.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 12, 2021, the Nghe An Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on the establishment of the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention and Control Department (Department PA05).
At the ceremony, the organizing committee announced the decisions of the Minister of Public Security regarding the appointment of the Head of Department and the decisions of the Director of the Provincial Public Security Department regarding the appointment, rotation, and transfer of the Deputy Heads of Department PA05. Accordingly, Department PA05 consists of 1 Head, 3 Deputy Heads, and 3 working teams.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Vo Trong Hai, Director of the Nghe An Provincial Police, requested that the leadership and officers of Department PA05 continuously study, research, and improve their skills, quickly adapting to new developments; and focus on advising and implementing tasks according to their assigned functions and duties.
The immediate priority is to coordinate with the police forces of various units and localities to ensure absolute safety during the elections for the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term. The Provincial Police will coordinate with Department A05 and provincial departments and agencies to invest in equipment and facilities to better serve the requirements of combating crime.cyberspace.
The establishment of PA05 Department - Nghe An Provincial Police has met the requirements of combating and preventing a specific type of crime in the new situation. This marks a milestone in the development of Nghe An Provincial Police in the process of building a professional, elite, and progressively modern force.
