Nghe An police reach isolated communes, helping people overcome the consequences of typhoon No. 3.
The Nghe An Provincial Police have mobilized hundreds of officers and soldiers from Battalion 1, Reserve Mobile Police Regiment, to assist mountainous communes in western Nghe An in overcoming the consequences of Typhoon No. 3.
This force was divided into 8 working groups to reach the communes of Nhon Mai, Luong Minh, Huu Kiem, Muong Xen, Con Cuong, Chieu Luu, Tam Thai, Thanh Binh Tho…
However, due to difficult terrain and the disruption of National Highway 7A, the movement of forces was slow, and some task forces had to remain in Con Cuong and Anh Son communes to help local people overcome the aftermath of the storm. By the morning of July 25th, three task forces had reached the area of Tuong Duong commune.
Immediately upon reaching the area, the forces deployed three task forces in Tuong Duong, Tam Thai, and Tam Quang communes to quickly coordinate with the local government and other forces to assist residents in cleaning their houses, dredging mud and debris, sanitizing the environment, and providing food assistance.
