Nghe An police dismantle two human trafficking rings, arresting six suspects.

Through intelligence gathering, the police discovered signs of human trafficking rings operating in the communes of Chieu Luu, Cam Phuc, and Huu Kiem. Their modus operandi involved using the ploy of "easy work, high pay," promising to cover all expenses to lure unemployed young women. Once victims fell into the trap, the traffickers took them across the border and sold them as wives for hundreds of millions of dong. Among the victims were women under 14 years old.

The verification process faced many difficulties because the suspects frequently moved around and blended in with the workforce in industrial zones in the North. After a period of persistent monitoring, the Criminal Police Department, in coordination with the Criminal Police Bureau (Ministry of Public Security) and local police forces, simultaneously arrested 6 suspects for the crimes of "Human Trafficking" and "Child Trafficking".

The identities of the individuals involved are as follows: Luong Thi Toan (born in 1982, with one prior conviction for "Human Trafficking"), Lo Van Phong (born in 1976), Xeo Thi Tien (born in 1982), Chich Thi An (born in 1979), Lo Van May (born 1978), Luong Thi Nham (born in 2002).

Initially, the suspects confessed to luring and selling three women abroad, profiting hundreds of millions of dong illegally. Authorities successfully rescued all three victims.

Currently, the Police Investigation Agency has initiated a criminal case, charged the suspects, detained them for processing, and is continuing to expand the investigation.
