Nghi Loc Police hold dialogue on youth management
The Nghi Loc commune police recently organized a dialogue conference between the local Party committee, government, commune police, the commune's Fatherland Front Committee, political and social organizations, schools, and parent representatives on the management of youth in the area.
According to a report from the Nghi Loc Commune Police, from July 1, 2025 to the present, there have been 5 criminal offenses involving young people in the commune; 11 individuals have been prosecuted, 3 are under post-rehabilitation management, and 2 are for illegal drug use. 10.5 kg of firecrackers and explosives were confiscated from 3 young people in the area. The commune police regularly coordinate with schools to disseminate and explain the State's policies and laws to young people and students; they regularly question, warn, and obtain signed commitments from young people and students who show signs of "misbehavior," especially during holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year). In reality, some young people still do not understand the regulations of the law and engage in violations of laws regarding traffic safety, firecrackers, cybersecurity, etc.
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing issues related to the management and education of young people, such as: concentrating on raising awareness among young people and students about complying with the Law on Road Traffic Safety; strengthening the management of children's use of social media; and proposing measures to prevent and combat school violence and to educate them on ethics and life skills.
Delegates also reflected on the difficulties in managing children, especially for families where parents work far away or where children show signs of delinquency; they suggested that schools should strengthen the establishment of more clubs and create healthy playgrounds for students… in order to improve the effectiveness of coordination between families, schools, and society in caring for and educating the younger generation.
