Quỳ Hợp police return 11 motorbikes to their victims.

(Baonghean.vn) - During the investigation, the suspects confessed to committing 11 motorbike thefts with a total value of 150 million VND.

On the afternoon of January 17th, the Quy Hop District Police returned 6 motorbikes to the victims and transferred 5 more to the police in Nghia Dan and Con Cuong districts for return to the victims.

Previously, through reconnaissance and information from the public, the police determined that in Minh Hop commune (Quy Hop district), a number of individuals had recently emerged who regularly committed motorcycle thefts in Quy Hop district and neighboring districts such as Nghia Dan and Con Cuong.

Recognizing that the suspects' actions were highly sophisticated and showed signs of organized activity, on December 13, 2016, the Quy Hop District Police established a special case codenamed 368A, determined to investigate and clarify the matter.

Following an investigation, on January 10, 2017, the Quy Hop District Police arrested six individuals: Vang Van Hoi (born in 1995), residing in Luong village, Chau Phong commune, Quy Chau district; and the remaining individuals from Quy Hop district: Lo Van Thuan (born in 1997); Tran Duc Dat (born in 1994); Nguyen Hoang Thien (born in 1996); Le Thanh Hoa (born in 1988); and Nguyen Van Loi (born in 1984), for the crimes of theft and receiving stolen property.

During the investigation, the suspects confessed to committing 11 thefts in areas such as Quy Hop, Nghia Dan, and Con Cuong, with a total value of 150 million VND. After verification, the Quy Hop District Police recovered 11 vehicles and returned them to the victims.
