In order to avoid detection by authorities, after committing the crime, the subjects divided the stolen property, moved to other localities to sell the property, took money for personal expenses, and played games.
Therefore, the Task Force encountered many difficulties in the process of verifying and recovering assets. The Task Force assigned working groups to follow every smallest clue to capture the subjects.
Synchronously deploying professional measures, on January 15, the Special Task Force arrested three subjects: Le Van Ngo (born in 1990), residing in Quy Hop town, Quy Hop district; Phan Huu Phuoc (born in 2000) and Ngo Duc Hoa (born in 1991), both residing in Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district.
At the police station, the subjects initially admitted to their illegal acts. Because they knew each other before, the subjects discussed and agreed to assign tasks to commit thefts to get money for personal expenses and gaming.

Accordingly, Ngo, Phuoc, and Hoa rode motorbikes through the streets, taking advantage of the families' lack of vigilance, especially at night when the homeowners were fast asleep, to break in and steal property, then sell it and split the money among themselves.
Initially, the police determined that the subjects had successfully carried out two thefts of property with a total value of about 250 million VND.
Currently, the case is being further investigated and expanded.
