Police inform about the murder of two brothers
After receiving news of the murder of two brothers stabbed to death in Binh Thanh commune, two Deputy Directors of Dong Thap Provincial Police directly went to the scene to direct the investigation.
On the afternoon of July 12, Dong Thap Provincial Police officially informed about the fatal stabbing of two brothers in Binh Thanh commune.
The Investigation Police Agency has temporarily detained Vo Van Teo (36 years old) and Vo Van Giang (34 years old), two brothers, both residing in Binh Thanh commune, to investigate the act of "Murder".
According to initial investigation, at around 6:00 p.m. on July 11, Teo was drinking with Huynh Chi Em (38 years old), Huynh Cong Chi (41 years old, Chi Em's older brother) and a man named Phuc.
At this time, Huynh Van Kiet (30 years old, younger brother of Chi Em and Cong Chi) was riding his motorbike home when he met Phuc and an argument broke out.

Afterwards, Vo Van Teo rode his motorbike home to get a knife and told Giang about the incident. Teo and Giang went to Chi's house to "talk".
Here, Teo's two brothers and Cong Chi's three brothers argued and then fought.
During the fight, Teo stabbed Cong Chi, Chi Em and Kiet with a knife. People around shouted, Teo and Giang ran away. On the way, Teo threw the knife into the river. Afterwards, Teo and Giang went to their relatives' house to sleep.
As a result, Cong Chi and Chi Em died; and Kiet was seriously injured.

Upon receiving the news, two Deputy Directors of Dong Thap Provincial Police, Colonel Tran Van Tron and Colonel Nguyen Van Thay, directly went to the scene to direct the forces to urgently examine the scene, conduct an autopsy, and collect evidence to investigate and clarify the case.
Five hours after the incident, police arrested Giang while he was hiding at his wife's parents' house in Binh Trung hamlet, Binh Thanh commune.
Teo was arrested while hiding at his uncle's house in Binh Hoa hamlet, Binh Thanh commune.
