The Nghe An Provincial Police visited and presented gifts to support northern provinces in overcoming flood damage.
Immediately after raising over 4 billion VND from the entire force, on September 12th and 13th, the Nghe An Provincial Police established working groups to directly visit and provide support to the northern provinces severely affected by Typhoon No. 3.

Following the directives of the Party, the State, and the Ministry of Public Security; responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province and the call of the Director of the Provincial Public Security Department to support and assist people in the North in overcoming the consequences of Typhoon No. 3, the Provincial Public Security Department established two working groups led by Deputy Directors of the Provincial Public Security Department: Colonel Tran Hong Quang and Colonel Tran Ngoc Tuan to directly visit, give gifts, encourage, and support the people and forces assisting the people in 6 northern provinces severely affected by Typhoon No. 3, including: Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Phu Tho, Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang, and Thai Nguyen.

In Lao Cai province – the most severely affected area – the delegation donated 400 million VND and essential supplies to officials, the people, and the police force. In the remaining five provinces, the delegation donated 300 million VND along with many necessary supplies to help officials, the people, and the police force overcome the consequences of the natural disaster.
Deeply moved by the sentiments expressed by the Nghe An Provincial Police, the leaders of the provincial police forces sincerely thanked the Nghe An Provincial Police for their timely concern, encouragement, support, and assistance, both material and spiritual, in the face of the difficulties and losses caused by Typhoon No. 3 in the area.

The practical and meaningful gifts, along with the timely encouragement, visits, and sharing from the Nghe An Provincial Police to the people of the northern provinces, as well as the police force supporting and assisting the people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, are proof of the tradition of solidarity and the spirit of mutual assistance of the police officers and soldiers in the homeland of the beloved President Ho Chi Minh.
