The provincial police force is committed to providing care and support to a Vietnamese Heroic Mother.

(Baonghean.vn) – On June 8th, the Nghe An Provincial Police held a ceremony to officially pledge lifelong support to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Nam, residing in Thuy village, Thanh Linh commune, Thanh Chuong district.

Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Nam, born in 1927, has two sons who were martyrs, bravely sacrificing their lives during the resistance war against the US to save the country. To express gratitude for the immense contributions of Mother and her family, the Provincial Police have committed to providing lifelong support and care for her at a rate of 1,000,000 VND per month.

In addition, every year, the Provincial Police also organizes activities to visit the Mother on holidays, Tet (Lunar New Year), the annual War Invalids and Martyrs Day, and when the Mother is ill...

This act demonstrates the principle of "drinking water, remembering the source" by Party committees, leaders at all levels, mass organizations, and officers and soldiers, expressing gratitude to the heroic Vietnamese Mothers, those who contributed to the revolution, relatives and families of martyrs... on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs and looking forward to the 72nd anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security.
