On January 27th, the Provincial Police and the Vietnam Airports Corporation held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement on ensuring aviation security and safety, fire prevention and control, rescue and emergency response at Vinh International Airport. Over the past period, the Nghe An Provincial Police and the Vietnam Airports Corporation have regularly maintained a cooperative relationship in many areas such as: exchanging information, coordinating crime prevention and addressing risks to aviation security and safety; conducting emergency response drills, and coordinating the handling of security and safety incidents at Vinh International Airport.
The achievements have made a significant contribution to maintaining security and order, ensuring absolute safety for flight operations, and creating a stable and safe environment for the Vietnam Airports Corporation to confidently invest, operate, and sustainably develop in Nghe An province.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Colonel Tran Ngoc Tuan, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, emphasized: The coordination regulations are of paramount importance, clearly demonstrating the determination of the two units in building a new, higher-level, and more comprehensive coordination mechanism, with four specific contents: establishing a formal, unified, long-term, and sustainable coordination mechanism; improving the effectiveness of state management of aviation security; proactively preventing security and safety risks early and from afar; and ensuring the operational activities of the Vietnam Airports Corporation in Nghe An province.
