During a patrol on the Vinh City bypass in Vinh Tan ward, the Economic Police Team of Vinh City Police inspected a tractor-trailer with license plate 72C - 124.85 towing a trailer with license plate 72R - 016.73 traveling in the South-North direction.
Upon inspection, police discovered that the container held a large quantity of seafood packed in 2,160 cardboard and styrofoam boxes, weighing over 25 tons. All the goods, including dried mackerel, dried yellowtail, spring rolls, razor clams, goby fish, shrimp paste, etc., were frozen and pre-processed, but most lacked production dates and expiration dates.

At the time of inspection, the driver was unable to present invoices or documents proving the origin of the frozen seafood. The Vinh City Police Department seized the entire shipment and recorded the incident to continue the investigation, complete the necessary procedures, and handle the case according to the law.
