Vinh City Police: Returning stolen motorbikes to residents

(Baonghean.vn)- On May 12, the Traffic Police Team (Vinh City Police) completed procedures to return property to two people whose motorbikes had been stolen.

They are Mr. Le Van Thien (born in 1960), residing in Vo Liet commune, Thanh Chuong district and Mr. Nguyen Van Duc (born in 1980), residing in Quynh Hung commune, Quynh Luu district.

Previously, at 4:00 p.m. on November 7, 2014, while on duty on Nguyen Sy Sach - Le Nin Street, Vinh City, the Traffic Police Working Group of Vinh City Police discovered a motorbike with license plate 37N - 4069 driven by a young man violating traffic laws by not wearing a helmet. Upon inspection, the license plate was found to be fake, so the working group drew up a record and temporarily detained the vehicle.

Through verification, the owner of the vehicle is Mr. Le Van Thien (born in 1960), residing in Vo Liet Commune, Thanh Chuong District. According to Mr. Thien, the WAVE ALPHA was stolen in November 2011 in the Ro Market area, Vo Liet Commune. Mr. Thien then reported the stolen vehicle to the Thanh Chuong District Police. Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Van Duc's motorbike was stolen in October 2012 while parked in front of his house.
