Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Tien, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Golden Island Real Estate Company (GIS), has been charged and temporarily detained by the Ho Chi Minh City Police for investigation into the crime of fraud and appropriation of property.
On March 20th, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency announced that it had initiated a criminal case, indicted the suspect, and executed an arrest warrant against Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Tien (born in 1976). This businesswoman is being investigated for "fraudulent appropriation of property." Ms. Tien is known as the founder, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, and General Director of Golden Island Real Estate Company Limited (GIS).
