Regarding the incident in Hanoi where a 10th-grade female student was assaulted and hospitalized, the Hoang Mai District Police announced today, March 20th, that they have summoned two suspects: Tran Tung D. (born in 2002, residing in Truong Dinh, Hanoi) and Le Tuan M. (born in 2001, residing in Hoang Mai, Hanoi). Another suspect, named L., is currently being summoned.
According to the initial statements of all three young men, they were the ones who assaulted the female student from PKC. The initial cause was determined to be a conflict between the students.
Previously, a female student named PKC (currently in 10th grade at Mai Hac De High School, Hoang Mai District, Hanoi) was ambushed and severely beaten, requiring emergency hospitalization on March 16th. According to several witnesses, the group that assaulted the 10th-grade student consisted of 3-4 people wielding weapons, striking relentlessly, leaving those nearby unable to intervene.
After being violently struck on the head with iron rods by a group of people, C. collapsed and fainted on the spot. Fortunately, immediately after the incident, people were able to take the victim to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Speaking to the press, Ms. Dao Thi Hoa Vu, Vice Principal of Mai Hac De High School, confirmed that the victim was PKC, a student in class 10A2 of the school. It is highly likely that the female student was assaulted by a group of former classmates from her middle school.
At the hospital, T. has regained consciousness, and the incident is currently under further investigation.
