Police investigate the death of a young woman following an elevator accident.
The elevator doors were broken open after the malfunction, and the 21-year-old woman who had just stepped out fell down the elevator shaft from the 7th floor to the ground, dying instantly.
The police in Ba Dinh district (Hanoi) and other professional units are investigating the incident.
The incident occurred at 11 PM on October 19th when the girl and her boyfriend were traveling by car.elevatorThey were trying to get from the 8th floor down to the 1st floor of an 8-story building on Kim Mã Street. The elevator stopped between the 7th and 8th floors, leaving both of them trapped inside.

The building security guard broke open the elevator door to let the two people out. According to initial investigations, as soon as she stepped out, she slipped and fell into the elevator shaft, landing at the bottom of the elevator on the first floor.
She was rushed to Saint Paul Hospital for emergency treatment, but unfortunately passed away.
