The Nậm Cắn commune police have issued an urgent notice seeking a missing person swept away by floods.
This morning (July 23), authorities in Nam Can commune are still urgently searching for Ms. Ly Y Dinh (born in 1959, residing in Huoi Poc village), who was swept away by floodwaters yesterday afternoon and whose whereabouts are currently unknown.
According to information from the Nậm Cắn Commune Police, at approximately 3-4 PM on July 22nd, Ms. Ly Y Dinh was on her way to her farm to feed her chickens when she crossed a stream. Unfortunately, at that time, heavy rain suddenly caused a flash flood, sweeping her away.
Immediately after receiving the report, local authorities mobilized the commune police, militia, and local residents to urgently search along the streams and surrounding areas. However, as of now, no trace of the victim has been found.
