After committing a crime and then fleeing, Nguyen Manh Linh (born in 1983, residing in Hamlet 5, Cau Giat, Quynh Luu Commune, Nghe An Province) was recently apprehended by the Quynh Luu Commune Police while hiding in a northern province.
Previously, on February 18, 2026, due to a conflict, Nguyen Manh Linh used a knife to threaten his younger brother, Nguyen Tuan An (born in 1987, also residing in the same area). Seeing the tense situation, bystanders tried to intervene. When held tightly, Nguyen Manh Linh unexpectedly stabbed one of the bystanders, causing him to collapse and require emergency medical treatment at the hospital. Immediately afterward, Nguyen Manh Linh fled the area.

It was known that the suspect frequently changed his residence and worked in many provinces and cities in the North, without contacting his family. However, following the clues, the police task force of the commune discovered the exact whereabouts of Nguyen Manh Linh.
On May 9, 2026, the commune police successfully arrested the suspect while he was staying in a rented room in Duong Hao ward, Hung Yen province. During questioning by the police, Nguyen Manh Linh confessed to all his criminal acts.
It is known that Nguyen Manh Linh had three previous convictions, lacked a stable job, and frequently associated with bad company.
The Investigation Police Department of Nghe An province has issued a decision to initiate a criminal case, indict the suspect, and issue an arrest warrant for Nguyen Manh Linh for the crime of "Intentional infliction of injury".
