During the festival, the organizing committee also held spectacular martial arts performances to celebrate and showcase the proud essence of traditional martial arts from Nghe An province.
Throughout the festival, there are prayers for peace, commercial activities with 40 stalls selling selected vegetarian teas and incense, and performances of traditional culture and arts.
To increase its appeal to the community, the organizers also invited experts and vegetarian community clubs to participate in activities themed "Green Economy and Vegetarian Nutrition Seminar Series"; and organized a seminar on the theme "Unwavering Mind Amidst the Ever-Changing Currents of Life". At Dai Tue Pagoda, a traditional folk music performance and a grand lantern festival were also held to pray for peace.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Venerable Thich Tho Lac – Head of the Central Culture Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Association – emphasized: This is the first time the festival has been organized, but it has attracted special attention from the local government and relevant agencies (Nghe An Provincial Farmers' Association, businesses, and vegetarian communities). With 40 booths showcasing OCOP products and typical local products, as well as vegetarian food stalls, the organizing committee hopes to make the festival a success. This success will set a precedent to promote and expand the Spring Festival of Peace and Serenity throughout the province.

With the theme "Enlightening the Path in Life," the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha aims to convey a meaningful message to the people and the community, so that Buddhism may continue to thrive and affirm its role in accompanying the nation.
