Specifically, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment announced a hotline number: 043.7957889 to receive information during working hours about land violations, harassment, and bribery in the process of applying for land use right certificates.
Citizens and businesses can also submit feedback and information via email:[email protected].
In addition, citizens and businesses can also submit their applications directly to the General Department of Land Management, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, 10 Ton That Thuyet Street, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi.
According to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, in recent days, the media has reported on the results of a survey on the effectiveness of provincial-level public administration and governance in 2015, which showed that harassment during administrative procedures related to the issuance of land use right certificates is on the rise in localities, with approximately 44% of people applying for land use right certificates having to pay bribes to complete the procedure.
Following this information, in addition to establishing a hotline to receive feedback, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment requested the General Department of Land Management to urgently prepare a document to be sent to the People's Committees of provinces and cities, requesting them to direct the inspection and clarification of the above issue, and report back to the Ministry.
Speaking to Tuoi Tre newspaper, Mr. Le Van Lich, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Land Management, said that after establishing a hotline number, the General Department of Land Management will directly receive information.
"The General Department will have a specialized unit to receive all feedback from citizens and businesses. This feedback will then be categorized and the issues raised by citizens and businesses will be clarified," Mr. Lich said.
