Announcement of the appointment of the Principal of Phan Dang Luu High School (Yen Thanh)

At the ceremony, Comrade Thai Van Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Education and Training - presented Decision No. 855/QD-SGD&ĐT dated April 6, 2024, appointing Mr. Phan Van Cuong as Principal of Phan Dang Luu High School for the term 2024-2029.

Mr. Phan Van Cuong (born in 1974) holds a Master's degree in Mathematics and is the Vice Principal of Phan Dang Luu High School.

During his career, Mr. Phan Van Cuong has worked at the company for nearly 29 years.Phan Dang Luu High SchoolShe has held various positions including teacher, Secretary of the Teachers' Youth Union, Head of the Mathematics and Informatics Department, and has served as the school's Vice Principal for nearly 15 years.

At the ceremony, the Department of Education and Training also presented the retirement decision to Mr. Nguyen Van Ngoan, the school's principal.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director of the Department of Education and Training Thai Van Thanh acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the staff of Phan Dang Luu High School - one of the schools that has consistently ranked among the top in the province for educational quality for many years. The school's overall success is due in part to the contributions of its teachers, including Mr. Nguyen Van Ngoan, who has dedicated nearly 40 years to education. Throughout his career, he has overcome many difficult and challenging periods with the education sector, yet has always remained dedicated to his profession, serving as an exemplary role model for the entire sector.

The Director of the Department of Education and Training also highly praised the new Principal of Phan Dang Luu High School, who has received the absolute support of the entire school staff.

Assigning the task to teacher Phan Van Cuong - Director of the Department of Education and Training also shared the difficulties and pressures of being the head of a high school. Therefore, in the coming time, teacher Phan Van Cuong's task is to always strive and make efforts, securing the support of the local government, parents, and students. From there, he will develop and build Phan Dang Luu High School to continue being one of the leading schools in education in the province in terms of teaching quality, the number of excellent students, and the high achievements of students in various exams.

Furthermore, the school principal must also be a leader and a responsible figure in building the school into a united community. In their role, the principal must be a good listener, open-minded, constantly learning, and able to apply new models so that students in the district can access modern educational programs and international education.

In his acceptance speech, teacher Phan Van Cuong expressed his gratitude to the Board of Directors of the Department of Education and Training, the Yen Thanh district government, and the entire staff, teachers, and employees of the school for their trust and for nominating him to the position of school principal.

The principal of Phan Dang Luu High School also pledged to work diligently, creatively, and with a high sense of responsibility to live up to the trust placed in him by the leadership at all levels, as well as the staff, teachers, parents, and students of the school.
