Announcement of the Decision appointing and transferring Comrade Nguyen Viet Hung to the position of Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Farmers' Association.
On the morning of December 10th, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision to transfer and appoint the Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Farmers' Association.
Attending the conference was Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.
Also attending were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Pham Trong Hoang - Head of the Provincial Party Organization Department; Nguyen Dinh Hung - Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; Chu The Huyen - Secretary of the Party Committee of Muong Xen commune; leaders of the Department of Science and Technology, Party committees, the Provincial Party Inspection Committee, the Provincial Party Office, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, political and social organizations of the province and Muong Xen commune.

At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee announced two decisions: Decision No. 2229, dated December 4, 2025, of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association on the appointment of the Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Farmers' Association for the 2023-2028 term; and Decision No. 266, dated December 5, 2025, of the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on the transfer of Comrade Nguyen Viet Hung - Member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the People's Council of Muong Xen commune - to work at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and assume the position of Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association for the 2023-2028 term.
New requirements for the Provincial Farmers' Association
Presenting the decision on the transfer, offering congratulatory flowers, and giving a speech assigning duties to Comrade Nguyen Viet Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Thi Minh Sinh affirmed: The approval by the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association and the assignment by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to Comrade Nguyen Viet Hung to hold the position of Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Farmers' Association is not only a recognition of his abilities, prestige, and contributions; but also a testament to the trust and expectations of the Party Committee, government, and people of the province towards the Provincial Farmers' Association in the new circumstances.
Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh also emphasized: In the context of the entire province striving to realize the aspiration of making Nghe An a prosperous province of the country, a national-level growth pole, modern, civilized, and rich in identity; this places higher demands on the Provincial Farmers' Association to truly be a reliable bridge between the Party and the people; to be a pioneering force in innovating production thinking, improving labor productivity, and developing agricultural economy in an ecological, sustainable, and smart direction; and to be a solid support for members in a highly competitive and volatile market mechanism.
In response to that request, Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh expressed her confidence and hope that, in his new position, Comrade Nguyen Viet Hung would continue to develop his qualities, abilities, character, dedication, and extensive practical experience gained from his previous work at various agencies, units, and localities, in order to innovate methods, unite, and rally the Association's cadres and all strata of farmers in the province to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
The focus is on effectively representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of farmers; proactively advising and proposing mechanisms and policies to create new impetus for the development of agricultural and rural economies, especially the development of new agricultural production models, models of linkages and cooperation along the value chain; high-tech agricultural and rural economic models; developing service and tourism industries associated with agriculture and rural areas; and creating many key agricultural products with provincial brands.
Continuing to vigorously innovate the content and methods of the Association's activities, especially in the context of strong digital transformation, it is necessary to promote the digitization of Association activities and build digital membership, building Nghe An farmers who are "resilient, creative, compassionate, and aspire to rise"; promoting the role of farmers in building model new rural areas, advanced new rural areas and preserving the cultural identity of Nghe An's villages; and actively participating in national security and defense.
Actively connect with the "four stakeholders" - the State, scientists, businesses, and farmers - to promote and support farmers in digital transformation, skills training, market access, expanding commodity production, and enhancing the value of Nghe An agricultural products in domestic and international markets. Focus on building a strong Farmers' Association organization from the grassroots level; consider the quality of cadres as a decisive factor in the success of agricultural and rural development; and strengthen inspection and supervision to ensure that every movement and policy of the Association is truly implemented in practice.
The Provincial Farmers' Association will continue to build a united and collaborative team, supporting each other in their work, and strengthening the organization to become a core force in building a modern agriculture, a prosperous and beautiful rural area, and modern, civilized farmers.
In his acceptance speech, Comrade Nguyen Viet Hung thanked the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association and the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for entrusting him with the position of Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association. He also pledged to work with the collective to unite, proactively innovate the content and methods of the Association's activities, and effectively promote the role of the farmers' association in developing the agricultural economy; building new rural areas in conjunction with emulation movements, focusing on the movement of farmers competing in excellent production and business, uniting to help each other get rich and sustainably reduce poverty.
Comrade Nguyen Viet Hung also pledged that the Provincial Farmers' Association will proactively participate in advising, guiding, and supporting farmers in developing a green, ecological, and circular economy, promoting the application of scientific and technical advancements, producing goods along linked value chains, and conducting trade promotion activities associated with digital transformation. Along with this, they will practically care for the lives and rights of farmer members; continue to innovate and improve the quality of services providing support to farmers in developing production and business, including capital, agricultural supplies, vocational training, and scientific and technical training, with a focus on providing legal advice and support services to farmers.
