On September 29th, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Duc Trung, signed Decision No. 2968/QD-UBND regarding the transfer and appointment for a term of 5 years of Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Trang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, and Chairman of the District People's Council of Nghia Dan District - to the position of Director of the Department of Justice, effective from October 10th, 2022.

Presenting the decision and flowers to the new Director of the Department of Justice, Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - congratulated Comrade Hoang Thi Thu Trang on being trusted, selected, and appointed by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to the position of Director of the Department of Justice.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the Department of Justice plays an important role, has functions and responsibilities, especially in the work of drafting and organizing the implementation of laws. In the past period, the Department has closely followed the goals and targets in the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress, actively advised on the implementation of tasks related to legal work, and contributed to the development of the province.

Emphasizing the significant contribution of Comrade Hoang Quoc Hao - former Director of the Department of Justice - to the success of the sector, on behalf of the provincial leadership, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged, thanked, and highly appreciated Comrade Hao's contributions to the development of the province in general and the Justice sector in particular.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung also assessed that Comrade Hoang Thi Thu Trang is a female official who has continuously strived and trained, with 16 years of service in the Justice sector, holding many important positions and always fulfilling assigned tasks.

In the coming period, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the new Director of the Department of Justice, Hoang Thi Thu Trang, to quickly familiarize herself with the work, ensuring the continuous operation of the Department of Justice; to continue to train and strive, and together with officials and civil servants in the sector, advise on the implementation of assigned tasks.

Specifically, the focus is on advising the Provincial People's Committee on key tasks related to the development and implementation of laws, ensuring the correctness and soundness of the legal basis; disseminating and educating the public on laws not only to the people but also to officials and civil servants to improve their capacity and awareness of law compliance; and strengthening judicial support services.

The Department of Justice also needs to focus on administrative reform, strengthening the application of information technology and digital transformation, in order to enhance transparency and efficiency in state management across all fields.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested that the leaders, officials, and staff of the Department of Justice cooperate, share, unite, and strive to excellently fulfill their assigned tasks, contributing to the overall development of the province. The agencies within the internal affairs sector and the departments and sectors should closely coordinate with the Department of Justice to complete their assigned tasks.

The new Director of the Department of Justice pledged to be open-minded, diligent, dedicated, and committed to quickly adapting to his new responsibilities; together with the leadership team, officials, and civil servants in the department, he will inherit and develop traditions to successfully complete all assigned tasks, worthy of being the "gatekeeper" of law for the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee; a reliable support and partner with departments, sectors, and localities in legal matters, making a worthy contribution to the overall development of the province.
