Announcement of the Politburo and Secretariat's decision to conduct inspections of the Standing Committees of the Provincial Party Committees of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh:
On the afternoon of February 24th, in Hanoi, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia - Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, and Head of Inspection Team No. 1917 - chaired a conference to announce the Political Bureau and Secretariat's decision to inspect the Standing Committees of the Provincial Party Committees of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh in 2025.
Attending the conference were Comrade Nguyen Quang Duc - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Deputy Head of the inspection team, and other members of the inspection team.
Representing the leaders of the three localities were: Nguyen Doan Anh - Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; and Tran The Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee.
Attending the conference were leaders from Nghe An province, including Comrade Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; along with members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and leaders of relevant departments and agencies.

At the conference, the inspection team announced the Decision to establish the inspection team and the inspection plan of the Politburo and the Secretariat of the Central Committee for the Standing Committees of the Provincial Party Committees of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh.
The inspection focused on the following issues: the review of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, dated October 25, 2017, of the 12th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam on "Some issues concerning the continued reform and restructuring of the political system's organizational apparatus to be streamlined, effective, and efficient" and Conclusion No. 121-KL/TW, dated January 24, 2025, of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam on the review of Resolution 18, in conjunction with the establishment and operation of new Party committees.
The implementation of Directive No. 35-CT/TW, dated June 14, 2024, of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels, leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party, and Conclusion No. 118-KL/TW, dated January 18, 2025, adjusting and supplementing some contents of Directive 35.
The implementation and organization of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.
Implementing Conclusion No. 123-KL/TW, dated January 24, 2025, of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam on the supplementary plan for socio-economic development in 2025 with the goal of achieving a growth rate of 8% or higher.

After listening to the speeches of local leaders, concluding the conference, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Nguyen Trong Nghia, stated that the four aforementioned points are closely related to each other. Based on practical experience, the inspection aims to understand the situation, check, supervise, and guide in order to promote strengths and overcome limitations.
Emphasizing the need for quick inspections while maintaining high standards, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department stated that the inspection plan was clear, and therefore localities needed to implement it seriously, demonstrating both a revolutionary and proactive spirit, while maximizing and adhering to principles, and upholding the spirit of self-criticism and criticism.
Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, requested that the three localities of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh adhere closely to the outline as required by the Politburo to prepare reports that ensure quality and timeliness.
During implementation, efforts should be made to reflect the current practical situation of the locality; clearly identify obstacles and difficulties to be resolved together; and present proposals and recommendations from the locality during the implementation of the four key tasks with a bold, honest, and dedicated perspective.
In light of the new policies and directions of the Politburo, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department requested that localities lead and direct the organization of Party congresses at all levels in a thorough and successful manner.
Strengthen ideological work among cadres, civil servants, and public employees during the process of reorganizing and streamlining the organizational structure; uphold the sense of responsibility of the leaders of Party committees, ensuring that the new apparatus is better than the old one.
The implementation process must be extremely smooth. Doing this well will strengthen the trust of Party members in the Party committee and the trust of the people in the Party; it must combine construction and combating, combating manifestations of potentially decadent or negative ideologies during this process.
