Announcement of Decision to establish Nam Dan - Hung Nguyen Forest Protection Department
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of June 4, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development held a ceremony to announce the Decision to establish Nam Dan - Hung Nguyen Forest Protection Department, on the basis of reorganizing Nam Dan Forest Protection Department and Hung Nguyen Forest Protection Department.
Nam Dan - Hung Nguyen Forest Protection Department was established under the direction of the Project on streamlining the payroll approved in Decision No. 2416/QD-UBND dated June 28, 2019 of the Provincial People's Committee on approving the Project on reorganizing the apparatus, streamlining the payroll and restructuring the staff, civil servants and public employees of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Decision No. 1043/QD-UBND dated April 7, 2020 on approving the Project on establishing inter-district Forest Protection Departments on the basis of merging Forest Protection Departments of districts, cities and towns.

The purpose of the merger is to streamline staff, reduce focal points, and improve the effectiveness of state management consulting work on forestry in inter-district areas.
Nam Dan - Hung Nguyen Forest Ranger Department is the first unit to be announced to merge 8 forest ranger departments into 4 forest ranger departments according to the province's project. Comrade Vo Trong Cuong - Head of Nam Dan Forest Ranger Department was appointed as Head of Nam Dan - Hung Nguyen Forest Ranger Department.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Comrade Bach Quoc Dung - Head of the Provincial Forest Protection Department requested: In order for the inter-district forest protection unit to soon operate stably, avoid causing disruption and interruption in the implementation of the project, especially during the peak period of PCCCR professional tasks, the Head of Nam Dan - Hung Nguyen Forest Protection Unit is required to coordinate in implementing the contents of state administrative management to proactively carry out the task immediately.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrades Ho Sy Hai - Vice Chairman of Nam Dan District People's Committee; Nguyen Van Tu - Vice Chairman of Hung Nguyen District People's Council acknowledged the efforts of Nam Dan and Hung Nguyen Forest Protection Departments in the past time; at the same time, they hoped that after the merger, Nam Dan - Hung Nguyen Forest Protection Department would continue to have effective solutions, excellently perform its tasks, protect the forest area in the two districts; advise the Party Committee and authorities in performing the task of sustainable forest management and protection./.
