Announcement of the Decision to Establish the Nam Dan - Hung Nguyen Forest Ranger Station

The Nam Dan - Hung Nguyen Forest Ranger Station was established in accordance with the approved personnel streamlining plan, as stipulated in Decision 2416/QD-UBND dated June 28, 2019, of the Provincial People's Committee on approving the plan for reorganizing the organizational structure, streamlining personnel, and restructuring the staff of officials and employees of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; and Decision No. 1043/QD-UBND dated April 7, 2020, on approving the plan for establishing an inter-district Forest Ranger Station based on the merger of Forest Ranger Stations of districts, cities, and towns.

The purpose of the merger is to streamline staffing, reduce administrative layers, and improve the efficiency of state management and advisory services in forestry across the inter-district area.

The Nam Dan - Hung Nguyen Forest Ranger Station was the first unit to be announced as part of the provincial plan to merge eight forest ranger stations into four. Mr. Vo Trong Cuong, the former Head of the Nam Dan Forest Ranger Station, was appointed as the Head of the Nam Dan - Hung Nguyen Forest Ranger Station.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Comrade Bach Quoc Dung - Head of the Provincial Forest Protection Department - requested: In order for the inter-district forest protection unit to quickly become operational and stable, avoiding disruption and interruption during the implementation of the project, especially during the peak period of forest fire prevention and control, he requested the heads of the Nam Dan - Hung Nguyen Forest Protection Units to coordinate the implementation of state administrative management contents to proactively carry out their tasks.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrades Ho Sy Hai - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Dan district; and Nguyen Van Tu - Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Hung Nguyen district acknowledged the efforts of the Nam Dan and Hung Nguyen Forest Protection Units in the past; and expressed their hope that after the merger, the Nam Dan - Hung Nguyen Forest Protection Units would continue to implement effective solutions, excellently perform their duties, and protect the forest area in the two districts; and advise the Party committees and authorities on the implementation of sustainable forest management and protection tasks.
