Announcement of the establishment of the Nghe An Department of Tourism.
(Baonghean.vn) - Chiều 6/1, UBND tỉnh Nghệ An tổ chức Lễ công bố Quyết định thành lập Sở Du lịch tỉnh Nghệ An.
Dự buổi lễ có các đồng chí: Nguyễn Đắc Vinh - Ủy viên Trung ương Đảng, Bí thư Tỉnh ủy, Trưởng Đoàn ĐBQH tỉnh; Nguyễn Xuân Sơn – Phó Bí thư Thường trực Tỉnh ủy, Chủ tịch HĐND tỉnh; Nguyễn Xuân Đường - Phó Bí thư Tỉnh ủy, Chủ tịch UBND tỉnh; Nguyễn Văn Thông - Phó Bí thư Tỉnh ủy; các đồng chí trong Ban Thường vụ Tỉnh ủy, Phó Chủ tịch UBND tỉnh; lãnh đạo các sở, ban, ngành cấp tỉnh.

Hội đồng nhân dân tỉnh Nghệ An số 36/NQ-HĐND ngày 16/12/2016 có ban hành Nghị quyết tách Sở Du lịch tỉnh Nghệ An từ Sở Văn hóa - thể thao và du lịch tỉnh Nghệ An.

Sở Du lịch Nghệ An được thành lập trên cơ sở chia tách từ Sở Văn hóa - Thể thao và Du lịch Nghệ An. Việc thành lập Sở Du lịch, nhằm tạo điều kiện cho ngành Du lịch Nghệ An phát triển, thực sự trở thành một ngành kinh tế mũi nhọn, then chốt góp phần quan trọng vào sự phát triển kinh tế - xã hội của tỉnh.

Regarding the appointment of officials and civil servants of the Department of Tourism, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision appointing Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - to the position of Director of the Department of Tourism. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh An - Deputy Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council - was appointed as Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, Nguyen Xuan Duong, decided to appoint Mr. Ho Mau Thanh, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, as Director of the Department of Culture and Sports. Ms. Hoang Thi Quynh Anh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, was appointed as Deputy Director; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, was appointed as Deputy Director; and Mr. Pham Tien Dung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, was appointed as Deputy Director.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrades Nguyen Dac Vinh - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Nguyen Xuan Duong - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that the establishment of the Department of Tourism is of paramount importance, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province and the successful implementation of Resolution 26 of the Politburo.
To ensure the Department of Tourism operates effectively, provincial leaders have requested that units focus on consolidating and building the leadership structure, recruiting suitable personnel; establishing working regulations, investing in infrastructure, and successfully fulfilling their assigned functions and tasks.

The leaders believe that the newly established unit is the starting point to create more favorable conditions for the province in continuing to attract and promote the image of President Ho Chi Minh's homeland to friends at home and abroad; creating a foundation to attract investors and tourists to the province.
