Announcing the establishment of Nghe An Department of Tourism

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 6, the People's Committee of Nghe An province held a ceremony to announce the Decision to establish the Department of Tourism of Nghe An province.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

Nghe An Provincial People's Council No. 36/NQ-HDND dated December 16, 2016 issued a Resolution separating Nghe An Provincial Department of Tourism from Nghe An Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Nghe An Department of Tourism was established on the basis of separation from Nghe An Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism. The establishment of the Department of Tourism aims to create conditions for Nghe An tourism industry to develop, truly becoming a key economic sector, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of the province.

Regarding the appointment of officials and civil servants of the Department of Tourism, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has decided to appoint Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism to hold the position of Director of the Department of Tourism. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh An - Deputy Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council holds the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism.

Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong decided to appoint Mr. Ho Mau Thanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to the position of Director of the Department of Culture and Sports. Ms. Hoang Thi Quynh Anh - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports; Mr. Pham Tien Dung - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrades Nguyen Dac Vinh - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Xuan Duong - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the establishment of the Department of Tourism is of great significance, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province and the successful implementation of Resolution 26 of the Politburo.

In order for the Department of Tourism to operate effectively, provincial leaders requested that units focus on consolidating and building leadership apparatus, receiving and recruiting suitable staff; building working regulations, investing in facilities, and completing assigned functions and tasks well.

The leaders believe that the newly established unit is the first step to create more favorable conditions for the province to continue attracting and promoting the image of Uncle Ho's homeland to domestic and international friends; creating a premise to attract investors and tourists to the province.
