Announcing the schedule for each session of the 2017 National High School Exam
The Ministry of Education and Training has published detailed instructions for examination councils, including specific regulations on the timetable for each exam session of the 2017 National High School Exam taking place from June 21-24.
According to Mr. Tran Van Nghia, Deputy Director of the Department of Testing and Education Quality Assessment (Ministry of Education and Training), the document on the timetable of each exam session is only a guide, the units in charge of the exam clusters have the right to adjust accordingly.
"Only the time for distributing the test papers, the time for doing each test and the time for doing each component subject of the combined tests must comply with the regulations," said Mr. Nghia.
Below is the schedule for each exam session according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training:
1. LITERATURE TEST (MORNING OF 6/22)

6:30-7:00 | - Receive exam papers, scratch paper and exam room document bags; - Enter the candidate's registration number on the table; - Call candidates into the examination room; compare and check photos and exam cards. |
7:00-7:25 | - An invigilator goes to receive exam papers at the exam site; - An invigilator signs the test paper and draft paper; Distributes and guides candidates to fill in the items on the test paper. |
7:25-7:30 | Allow candidates in the examination room to witness the sealing status of the exam bag, the conformity of the exam subject with the exam schedule and make a confirmation record with the signatures of 2 candidates. |
7:30-7:35 | - Open the exam paper bag and distribute the exam paper to candidates; - Candidates are required to check the status of the exam. |
7:35 | Start the test timer. |
7:50 | Submit the sealed extra exam papers to the person assigned by the Head of the Examination Site. |
9:20 | Remind candidates that they have 15 minutes left to do the test. |
9:35 | Test time is over. The invigilator collects the test papers from the candidates; asks the candidates to sign the Test Paper Collection Form (clearly stating the number of test papers). |
2. MATH TEST (AFTERNOON 22/6)
