Construction Joint Stock Company 465 receives the Third-Class Independence Order.

(Baonghean.vn) – On the morning of December 25th, Construction Company 465 held a ceremony to celebrate its 50th anniversary and receive the Third-Class Independence Order.

Attending the event were: Mr. Le Dinh Tho, Deputy Minister of Transport; Mr. Hoang Viet Duong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of provincial departments and agencies, and the General Construction Corporation No. 4.

On December 25, 1965, the Ministry of Transport decided to establish the CT65 Overhaul Workshop from the 253rd Brigade under the Construction Department I, based on separating a portion of the forces from factories under the Ministry of Transport. Born amidst the flames of war, the CT65 Overhaul Workshop was tasked with repairing various types of construction vehicles and machinery for units throughout the Department, ensuring transportation for the frontline areas of Military Region 4 in Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Quang Binh provinces.

Since 1975, after the reunification of the country, the CT65 Overhaul Factory continued to carry out new tasks in peacetime on the transportation front, such as: participating in the restoration of the North-South unified railway; repairing and delivering hundreds of vehicles and machinery annually to ensure timely transportation; manufacturing and processing steel structures, various equipment including pontoons, ferries, and barges for construction; producing precast concrete; and manufacturing railings and street lighting poles throughout the country…

In 1992, the Ministry of Transport decided to merge the F19 Enterprise into the CT65 Overhaul Factory to form the Transport Engineering Machinery Company, under the Central Vietnam Construction Corporation. On August 30, 2000, the Ministry of Transport decided to transform the Transport Engineering Machinery Company into the 465 Construction and Mechanical Engineering Joint Stock Company. After privatization, the enterprise truly shifted from mechanical manufacturing to bridge construction and won bids for many large-scale projects.

Authorized by the Ministry of Transport, Comrade Le Dinh Tho, Deputy Minister of Transport, presented the Third-Class Independence Order to the collective of cadres and workers of Construction Joint Stock Company 465.

Authorized by the Ministry of Transport, Deputy Minister Le Dinh Tho presented the Third-Class Labor Medal to Mr. Vu Thanh Tung, Director of the Company.

On April 24, 2014, the company decided to change its name to Construction Joint Stock Company 465. The company's production and business performance indicators were effective, with 2014 compared to 2005 showing: output increased 4.5 times, revenue increased 3.5 times, payments increased 3.7 times, average employee income increased 5.4 times, and annual dividends ranged from 12-15%...

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Viet Duong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged and praised the outstanding achievements of Construction Company 465, and emphasized: In the coming time, the company needs to uphold its tradition of bridge and road construction, continue to proactively invest in improving its capacity and modern equipment, undertake many important projects, and become one of the leading units in bridge and road construction, contributing to the completion of the local transportation infrastructure system…

At the ceremony, on behalf of the authorized representative, Deputy Minister of Transport Le Dinh Tho presented the Third-Class Independence Order to the collective of cadres and workers of Construction Company 465 and the Third-Class Labor Order to Mr. Vu Thanh Tung, the company's director.

Also on this occasion, the Ministry of Transport and the People's Committee presented a banner commemorating the 50th anniversary of its establishment.
