Newborn citizens are given birth certificates and flowers at home.

Starting in September, every newborn in Da Nang will receive a birth certificate, household registration book, health insurance card, and a congratulatory bouquet of flowers delivered to their home by local officials.

The Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, Huynh Duc Tho, has just signed a document promulgating a pilot project to deliver birth certificates, health insurance cards, and household registration documents to the homes of children whose families are registered as permanent residents in the city.

Accordingly, from September 1st until the end of 2017, every newborn citizen who registers their birth at the People's Committee of the commune, ward, or district, including cases involving foreign elements, will receive their documents at home.

"Each newborn baby will receive a birth certificate, household registration, health insurance card, and a bouquet of flowers from officials at their home," said Mr. Huynh Duc Tho, expressing his belief that when these children grow up and look back at these images, they will feel responsible for their homeland, family, and society.

In September, the leaders of the Da Nang City People's Committee will present birth certificates, household registration documents, and health insurance cards to five individuals from impoverished households, ethnic minority families, and policy beneficiary households. This initiative will be implemented citywide starting in October.
