Implementing the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress at all levels for the 2023 - 2028 term, implementing the theme "Focusing on bringing the resolution of the Trade Union Congress at all levels into life; competing to achieve achievements to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union", Nghe An Trade Union at all levels has organized many exciting, timely and effective activities.

To implement 17 targets assigned by the General Confederation of Labor in 2024,Provincial Federation of LaborNghe An has issued 12 key contents, tasks and solutions. As of May 31, Nghe An Trade Union has exceeded 4 targets and completed 3 targets. Typical contents include establishing mass women's unions outside the state sector; disseminating and thoroughly understanding the Party's Resolution, legal policies, organizing Workers' Month activities at enterprises; improving the qualifications and professional skills of union members; training and fostering new grassroots trade union chairmen...

In the first 6 months of 2024, the whole province established 41 grassroots trade unions in the form of non-state enterprises, exceeding the 2024 plan target of the Provincial Federation of Labor by 102.5%, recruiting 8,264 new union members.

In its role of supporting union members and workers, Nghe An Trade Union has had typical and effective models. Specifically, Nghe An Trade Union at all levels spent nearly 20 billion VND to take care of Tet for nearly 23,000 union members and workers; supported a total of 1.46 billion VND in funding for the construction and repair of 39 Union Shelters for union members and workers.

In addition, contents such as building policies and laws related to workers; launching emulation movements and celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam Trade Union; women's work, inspection, supervision... also achieved many positive results.

Workers' Month 2024 was organized by units from the provincial to grassroots levels with many exciting activities, many practical tasks achieving comprehensive results, with high spreading effect. The Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with the Provincial Labor Safety and Hygiene Council to organize the Launching Ceremony in response to the Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month, Workers' Month 2024.

Establish a delegation to supervise the implementation of the Law on Labor Safety and Hygiene at 7 enterprises; Organize a Conference to honor 95 Nghe An workers following Uncle Ho's teachings in 2024; Support 29 million VND for 58 workers suffering from occupational silicosis; Visit and encourage 38 workers and 2 contractors participating in the construction of the 500 kV power line project, circuit 3 in Nghe An province.

At the district, industry and grassroots levels, there are many outstanding activities such as organizing union members and workers to salute the flag and sing the National Anthem every Monday morning; coordinating with enterprises to organize "Union Meals" on the occasion of Workers' Month; organizing policy dialogue activities and forums "Workers for Enterprises - Enterprises for Workers"; signing union member welfare programs, free health check-ups; "Summer Cooling" program for workers; organizing sports tournaments, mid-break exercises, preparing shift meals for workers, praising exemplary workers in studying and following Uncle Ho...

Based on the regular tasks for 2024 set out at the beginning of the year, implementing the assigned targets for 2024 according to Decision No. 675/QD-TLĐ dated April 2, 2024, Nghe An Trade Union continues to focus on implementing 9 key contents in the last 6 months of the year. Specifically, continue to effectively implement the Action Program of the resolutions; focus on implementing the working theme for 2024.

At the same time, focus on solutions to complete and exceed the targets according to Decision 675/QD-TLĐ dated April 2, 2024 of the General Confederation of Labor on assigning targets for performing tasks in 2024; Organize activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union; Promote the role of grassroots trade unions in representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; Focus on directing the collection of trade union fees according to Decree 191/ND-CP...

To recognize the outstanding achievements of individuals and collectives, on this occasion, the conference awarded 2 Emulation Flags of the General Confederation of Labor, 4 Emulation Flags of the Provincial Confederation of Labor to educational units for the 2023-2024 school year; 37 Certificates of Merit for Creative Labor to individuals and 10 Certificates of Merit to outstanding units in Workers' Month.

Looking back at the achievements of Nghe An Trade Union in the first 6 months of the year, comrade Kha Van Tam acknowledged the results in implementing the Congress Resolution.UnionAll levels; Education and propaganda work is widespread and practical; There is innovation in care activities, many activities directly reach workers; There are positive changes in establishing grassroots unions and developing union members; Workers' Month achieves many comprehensive results.

From the advantages and disadvantages, the head of the Provincial Federation of Labor suggested that trade unions at all levels need to develop specific and practical action plans, promoting the coordination strength and responsibility of trade union cadres.
