Nghe An Community in Korea 'Looking Towards the Central Region'

(Baonghean.vn) - Recently, in Nam Ji province, South Korea, the Nghe An community organized a charity football tournament with the theme "Towards the Central region" with the aim of raising donations to help people in Nghe An and Ha Tinh after the flood in October 2016.

The program was jointly organized by representatives of the Nghe An labor community in Korea and the HaiAu music band with the participation of 8 teams of 200 athletes from provinces in Korea such as Gyong Ju, Hoa Jon, Chirwwon, Gimhea...

The tournament was divided into 2 groups, each group selected the first and second teams to enter the semi-finals. At the end of the tournament, the championship belonged to the Gyong Ju team.

The matches were fierce and attractive to viewers.

Along with the football tournament, there were also performances, comedy, and fashion shows by the teams. The program attracted a large number of Vietnamese people living, working, and studying in Korea to attend.

Everyone joins hands to donate to support the people of Central Vietnam.

In addition to the purpose of calling for charitable donations to support the people of Central Vietnam affected by the flood, the program is also an opportunity to create exchanges and solidarity among Nghe An workers and students living, studying and working in Korea, promoting the movement of physical exercise and sports.

At the program, the audience received lucky tickets and participated in a draw to receive shirts signed by coach Huu Thang and all the players of the Vietnam national team.

At the end of the program, the amount of money raised was 50 million. In the near future, the association will send representatives back to the country to directly deliver the money to people who suffered heavy losses in the flood.

It is known that previously, with the same theme "Towards the Central region" in Busan city, the Vietnamese working community in Korea also organized a call for donations, the amount collected was nearly 100 million VND.
