Last night, November 17th, Vietnam national team interpreter Le Huy Khoa attracted attention when he shared two photos of Cong Phuong and his wife at their wedding reception on the evening of November 16th in Ho Chi Minh City. The first photo shows the striker from Nghe An province and his wife walking hand in hand onto the stage, both smiling happily. The second photo captures the couple sharing a sweet kiss.
"Keep that kiss and smile forever, my dear couple," assistant Le Huy Khoa wrote to Cong Phuong and his wife.
Assistant coach Le Huy Khoa revealed that he and Cong Phuong have known each other for 13 years, since the striker from Nghe An first joined HAGL's youth academy. The assistant coach, who handles Korean-Vietnamese translation for Coach Park, also witnessed the relationship between Cong Phuong and Vien Minh from the very beginning. He even occasionally acted as a "heart-to-heart expert" for the 1995-born striker.
"From the first day I met Phuong's girlfriend, I felt she was his other half, a very strong, intelligent, and skillful woman. I knew they would definitely be together later on - simply because they were meant for each other," assistant Le Huy Khoa said, praising Cong Phuong's wife.

Cong Phuong and Vien Minh had been dating since 2018 but kept it a secret. It wasn't until this past June, when the couple held their engagement ceremony, that their relationship became known.
Today, November 18th, Cong Phuong and his wife will continue to host a party in Phu Quoc to entertain friends and close teammates from his club and the national team. Following that, on November 3rd, Cong Phuong's family will hold another party in their hometown of Nghe An to invite relatives.
