Cong Phuong 'challenges' Tuan Anh ahead of the big match.
The striker from Nghe An province is training very actively in preparation for the match between Mito Hollyhock and Yokohama FC this weekend.
On October 16th, Mito Hollyhock and Yokohama FC will face each other in Round 36 of J.League 2. This is a highly anticipated match for Vietnamese fans, as both teams feature two talented young players from Vietnam: Nguyen Cong Phuong and Nguyen Tuan Anh.
Since moving to Japan to play, Tuan Anh has yet to make an appearance in J.League 2, while Cong Phuong has only been brought on as a substitute once. Both Vietnamese players have had the opportunity to showcase their skills in the Japanese Emperor's Cup.
Currently, both Mito Hollyhock and Yokohama FC are quite far from the promotion play-off group, with only 7 rounds remaining in the 2016 J.League 2 season. Therefore, it is highly likely that these two clubs will give Cong Phuong and Tuan Anh a chance in the final rounds.
According to plan, Cong Phuong and Tuan Anh will return to Vietnam to join the national team in early November to prepare for the return friendly match against the Indonesian national team at My Dinh Stadium.
