(Baonghean.vn) - Returning to his hometown for the third time in the match against SLNA, striker Nguyen Cong Phuong of HAGL said that having to play at Vinh Stadium is not a pressure for him.

The highlight match between SLNA and HAGL took place in the context that both had to accept defeat in the previous round. Responding to Nghe An Newspaper during the training session to prepare for the match against SLNA, HAGL coach Nguyen Quoc Tuan said: "I can't say anything in advance, but the only thing that worries me is that the grass at Vinh Stadium is currently very bad and it may affect the quality of the match. We have prepared very carefully for this match, and I hope the home team players as well as HAGL will give the audience an emotional match."

Meanwhile, striker Nguyen Cong Phuong, one of the key players of this match, also showed high determination before the confrontation with SLNA.

In response to the attention and love of Nghe An fans for him, the striker born in 1995 shared: "I am very grateful for the love of the fans for me, but I am a professional player so I will play my best for the flag and the shirt. I hope I can score against SLNA..."

When asked about the possibility of returning to play for his hometown team in the near future, Cong Phuong was quite ambiguous: "The future is unpredictable, but right now I want to focus on contributing my maximum to my club and the immediate goals."

During the training session that took place yesterday afternoon at Vinh Stadium, Nghe An audiences were constantly amazed at the ball handling ability of HAGL stars. Without the "experts" in the midfield like Quang Tinh and Hoang Thinh, if SLNA cannot promote their collective play and fiery spirit on the field, Nghe An team will certainly face many difficulties against the technical passing and coordination style of the mountain town team.
