As a referee with many years of experience officiating at the tournament, Le Manh Hung has been assigned the role of Team Leader for this year's competition.refereeSharing his perspective, Hung said: “Many people think that in amateur leagues, especially those for teenagers and children, fouls and penalties on the field should be 'more lenient' than in professional leagues. But I don't think so. Intentional fouls, malicious tackles, and unprofessional play must be dealt with strictly, without leniency.”

This year, the refereeing team for the Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth and Children's Football Tournament has 20 members, including two referees currently working in the V-League – the national football championship: Nguyen Dinh Thai and Tran Duy Khanh.
