Propaganda work must always be "one step ahead"

Recognizing and appreciating the role of the Propaganda sector in all fields in the past year, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Son affirmed that the sector has proactively advised the Party Committee to lead and direct the handling of "hot spots" in the area, as well as creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere to carry out the province's political tasks and complete socio-economic targets.

In 2018, with many challenges, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Propaganda Department to continue implementing the motto of "going one step ahead" to do well on the ideological front.

"To do so, each propaganda department at all levels and each propaganda officer need to strongly innovate their thinking and working methods, create persuasiveness, and affirm the pioneering role of the Propaganda sector," Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son emphasized.

Emphasizing a number of key tasks, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that the Propaganda Department needs to build a strong team of propaganda cadres, increase experience exchange, learn from each other, as well as innovate the form, content and quality of training.

“No one can change us but we must change ourselves. We must train ourselves in the “propaganda army”, think and act more and more strongly. Only then can we demonstrate the sharpness of the propaganda system” - Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son shared.

On the other hand, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also suggested that propaganda work must become the top priority and central task of the entire political system. Therefore, the Propaganda Department at all levels needs to create new, more positive changes, creating a spreading effect so that every cadre and party member can participate in propaganda work.

Receiving the instructions of the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, orienting and deploying tasks in 2018, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Ho Phuc Hop emphasized that the Propaganda sector needs to continue to innovate to suit the new situation.

Accordingly, each propaganda officer needs to be quick, proactive, self-aware, and innovative in thinking and approach, following the direction of leading political ideology and public opinion to bring the Party's guidelines and resolutions and the State's policies and laws into life.

Besides, each propaganda officer needs to improve the ability to forecast and provide information in a sensitive, accurate, timely, effective and practical manner, as a basis for leading and directing the Party's ideological work in the new situation.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department was honored to receive the Emulation Flag of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for excellently and comprehensively completing its tasks, leading the patriotic emulation movement in the province.

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department awarded certificates of merit to 16 affiliated Propaganda Departments for their outstanding achievements in propaganda work in 2017 and 11 political training centers for their outstanding achievements in political theory education work in 2017.
