(Baonghean.vn) - Each with their own profession, the team of collaborators - the companions and "extended arms" of Nghe An Newspaper - are always passionate and eager to accompany the Party newspaper on its development journey. On the occasion of the Collaborator Conference, Nghe An Newspaper would like to introduce some outstanding individuals.

Reporter Huy Thu:"Happy to travel and write

Contributor Huy Thư, whose full name is Trần Văn Thư, contributed and had his first article published in a print newspaper.Nghe An NewspaperHe started writing in 2012, but it wasn't until 2016, when he joined the Social and Cultural Affairs Department, that he became a regular writer, with many of his works published in the newspaper's publications. To support his passion for writing, in addition to a laptop and camera, he also invested in a drone.

According to Huy Thu, "During my collaboration with Nghe An Newspaper, I felt happy because I got to travel and write, especially because I got to immerse myself in the vibrant flow of life, to interact, learn, and expand my knowledge... For me, each region is a wonderful place to live with so many cultural values, containing interesting, beautiful, and unique things to discover and explore. Among them, traditional culture with its ancient relics, heritage, and unique customs and practices is truly captivating."

He also shared that the somewhat stringent requirements from the Editorial Board of Nghe An Newspaper and the editorial secretary, as well as the close and frequent interaction and information exchange between the editorial team and contributors, have made contributors like him more meticulous and increasingly better at their work.

For himself, Huy Thu believes that since Nghe An Newspaper has created an attractive "playing field" for many participants, including himself, he needs to strive and be proactive in all circumstances to contribute to making that "playing field" even more vibrant and meaningful. Accordingly, besides writing talent, one needs passion, a sense of responsibility, enthusiasm, and dedication to produce interesting, unique, and engaging articles, ensuring accuracy, completeness, speed, and timeliness for readers. Especially in today's dynamic journalistic environment, it is essential that journalists are also dynamic and creative to meet the increasingly high demands of multimedia journalism, especially online journalism.

CTV Hai Thuong: Contributing to motivating and encouraging soldiers.

Bui Hai Thuong (also known by the pen name Anh Bach), working in the Political Department (Provincial Border Guard Command), is an active and regular contributor to Nghe An Newspaper. He said: “Due to the nature of my work, I have been associated with Nghe An Newspaper for over 26 years. My footsteps have spanned the border regions of the province. As a border guard, in addition to carrying out the professional duties assigned by my unit commander, I have actively written news and articles for publication in Nghe An Newspaper. These include information and images about the process of carrying out the duties of border guards, or articles about the life and identity of ethnic minority people in the highlands and border areas…”

Initially, his writing was simply a collection of feelings and reflections, written in a "write whatever comes to mind" style. However, thanks to the care and guidance of the reporters and editors of Nghe An Newspaper, each of Bui Hai Thuong's works has become more complete and insightful, building trust and motivation for him to continue his passionate collaboration with the newspaper.

According to contributor Bui Hai Thuong, in recent years, Nghe An Newspaper has seen strong development in both content and format, from daily publications, Nghe An Weekend, the Ethnic Minorities - Mountainous Regions special issue, to the online version of Nghe An Newspaper. In particular, new areas such as television, podcasts, e-magazines, and YouTube channels are gradually attracting readers…with diverse and rich content covering almost all fields from domestic to international news. Articles and special features in the newspaper are directional and not sensational or attention-grabbing.

“The newspaper has always shown interest in, encouraged, and published many high-quality news articles about the activities and work of border guards on the two border lines, thereby contributing to motivating and encouraging the soldiers to firmly hold their weapons and successfully complete all assigned tasks, ensuring the firm sovereignty and security of the national border. That is also the motivation for contributors, who are also soldiers in green uniforms like me, to continue going and writing…,” Bui Hai Thuong shared.

Reporter Mai Giang: 20 years - a journey that lasts forever.

Having started collaborating with Nghe An Newspaper in October 2003, this year's contributors' conference is undoubtedly the most special for reporter Mai Giang. This also marks the 20th anniversary of her collaboration with Nghe An Newspaper.

“Having worked as a contributor to Nghe An Newspaper for 20 years, I can't remember all the memories or all the help my colleagues have given me. However, one thing I can be sure of is that I have grown a lot thanks to that environment,” reporter Mai Giang shared.

Mai Giang shared that she started working at Nghe An Newspaper while still employed at the Dien Chau District Radio and Television Station (now the Dien Chau District Culture, Sports and Tourism Center). In the early days of venturing into journalism, she faced many difficulties. The nature of her job prioritized broadcasting, so the beginning was not easy. She recalled that in the beginning, when submitting articles to Nghe An Newspaper, even short ones required numerous revisions and additions. However, she was fortunate to meet many reporters and editors who were willing to guide and help her understand how to write news articles and take proper photos. Not only that, they were also willing to entrust her with more challenging articles, allowing her to test her abilities. Afterward, Mai Giang felt she had matured significantly, and her journalistic thinking and skills had improved considerably.

Looking back over the past 20 years, Mai Giang believes that Nghe An Newspaper has undergone remarkable changes with investment and meticulous attention to both content and format across all its publications. Mai Giang hopes that the team of contributors will continue to receive even more support from Nghe An Newspaper. Through this, contributors will have more opportunities to enrich the provincial Party newspaper with diverse perspectives from across Nghe An province.

Reporter Quoc Cuong: Using a car as a… recording studio.

I became friends with Nghe An Newspaper by chance after attending a Lao language class in 2019. At that time, Nghe An Newspaper had just launched its international commentary section. I thought I'd only read it "for fun," but unexpectedly, Captain Duong Quoc Cuong - Chairman of the Trade Union of the Nghe An Provincial Police - has been associated with Nghe An Newspaper for over 3 years.

Captain Duong Quoc Cuong's connection with Nghe An Newspaper began with a Lao language class he attended in 2019. During the class, a reporter from the newspaper asked him to try reading an international commentary article aloud in a male voice. Since then, he has been associated with Nghe An Newspaper and has become a voice known to readers near and far.

Sharing with us, our contributor Quoc Cuong said that he has been passionate about following international news and commentary programs since his school days. These programs often offer in-depth and broad knowledge, helping him broaden his understanding, especially regarding the multifaceted nature of international relations. Following this type of information also provides him with additional knowledge to support his professional work.

However, according to Quoc Cuong, reading and listening to programs from other newspapers and radio stations only provides a one-sided perspective. When participating in commentary for Nghe An Newspaper, he has to carefully study the article and the context of the story to have an appropriate reading voice. Participating in the production process of such a product has helped him solidify his knowledge and enrich his understanding.

Calling himself a "newbie" when collaborating with Nghe An Newspaper, Quoc Cuong said that when he first started, each article would take him several hours to read, record, and edit the audio file. Now that he's more familiar with the work, he can complete each article in just 10 to 15 minutes. He also has many memorable experiences with self-recording. He said, "Because there's no recording studio, I mostly have to record on my phone. In the beginning, because I wasn't used to it, the audio files were often noisy. Later, someone suggested that I record in a car with the doors closed to avoid the background noise. So I sat in the car, reading and recording at the same time..."

However, Quoc Cuong's joy comes from the positive feedback he receives from acquaintances, friends, and readers everywhere when his voice is broadcast. Even readers in Germany, Russia, and France interact with him, giving him added motivation to continue collaborating with passion and responsibility…
