According to city regulations, after collection, the waste of Vinh City Green Park Company will be processed at two locations: Dong Vinh landfill (Hung Dong commune - Vinh city) and Nghi Yen (Hamlet 4, Nghi Yen commune, Nghi Loc district).

However, on August 9, Hung Loi Commune Police (Hung Nguyen District) discovered and handled the act of secretly discharging waste in violation of regulations by employees of this company in the commune.

Regarding the above incident, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Deputy Director of Vinh City Green Park Company admitted that the unit was subjective in not strictly supervising the garbage collection and disposal process of employees, leading to violations.

“The unit admitted that the company's employees dumping garbage in Hung Loi commune was wrong. After receiving the police's notice, the unit reviewed the individuals who violated the law. After investigating the cause, it was learned that some people asked the employees to transport fallen tree branches in Hung Loi commune for firewood, so they "innocently" accepted... Currently, to remedy the consequences, the company is mobilizing people to collect garbage there" - Ms. Thuy said.

Regarding the handling of violators, Ms. Thuy said that the penalty will be reduced internally by salary and bonus reduction in August.

When asked if there was a phenomenon of Green Park Company employees burning trees causing pollution affecting people in the area, Ms. Thuy denied it.

However, Hung Loi Commune Police reported that the company employees did burn garbage. It even happened many times, affecting the lives of the people when the amount of smoke and dust flying into the residential area was very large. The incident happened for a long time, so the people were forced to report it to the authorities to ask for intervention and handling.

Mr. Pham Van Kien - Head of Hung Loi Commune Police said: "With the violations of the employees of Vinh City Green Park Company, the commune police will take administrative action with the highest possible fine of 2 million VND. However, that fine depends on how the company overcomes the consequences of the violation."
