According to the Decision of the Provincial People's Committee, the raw material area of Song Con Sugar Company Limited spans communes in the former five districts of Nghe An province: Tan Ky, Anh Son, Do Luong, Yen Thanh, and Thanh Chuong... with a total planned raw material area of 12,330 hectares.
At the beginning of the crushing season, the company is strengthening its inspection and control of raw materials, signing transportation contracts, harvesting, identifying and zoning harvesting areas, focusing on procurement, developing detailed sugarcane crushing plans, and cooperating closely with sugarcane farmers to ensure the best quality sugarcane delivered to the factory. The current purchase price for sugarcane is 1.1 million VND/ton, and the loan limit for sugarcane cultivation is 20 million VND/ha.
