Nghe An Electricity Company: Many practical activities to show gratitude to customers

The annual program "Customer Gratitude Month" is one of the important activities at the end of the year of Nghe An Power Company. This is also a practical activity to celebrate the 66th anniversary of the Vietnam Electricity Industry's tradition day (December 21, 1954 - December 21, 2020). In response to this program, units under Nghe An Power Company have simultaneously implemented "Customer Gratitude Month" activities in a practical, appropriate and influential manner.

The program "Drinking water, remember its source" was carried out in Dien Chau district with activities of giving gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Don, Dien Quang commune and families of policy beneficiaries, families of cadres and workers in the Electricity industry whose relatives are martyrs.

The program “Free transformer station cleaning” has been actively and effectively implemented for more than 25 major customers in the whole province. Customers have acknowledged the sharing of the Electricity industry with customers during the difficult period due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic.

The program "Lighting up the countryside roads" was implemented on 7 roads in the districts and towns of Anh Son, Ky Son, Nam Dan, Nghia Dan, Thai Hoa Town, Thanh Chuong, Tan Ky and Yen Thanh, with the installation of power lines and light bulbs to bring light to the village roads, contributing to the socio-economic development and new rural construction in the area.

With the program "Lighting up the faith" this year, Nghe An Electricity Company awarded 30 scholarships to poor students who have overcome difficulties at schools in remote areas.

The program of installing lighting for medical facilities, schools, supporting the repair and renovation of household electrical systems, replacing wires behind the meter, replacing lighting, supporting funding for repairing damaged household appliances, supporting free labor to install wires behind the meter for customers, was implemented for 184 customers who are schools in remote areas, flood-affected areas and poor households, single-parent families, policy families...

Ms. Lu Thi Thi in Cau Da hamlet, Yen Hop commune (Quy Hop) emotionally shared: “My house's electrical wiring system was damaged and unsafe, but due to difficult family circumstances, I did not have money to replace it. Now, with the help of the ladies and gentlemen from the Electricity Department, I have been able to replace the wiring and even replace energy-saving light bulbs. I feel very happy and secure. Thank you to the Electricity Department for your attention and help.”

On the occasion of customer gratitude, Nghe An Power Company also sent gratitude via SMS, Zalo, Email to all customers; Organized meetings with partners and local authorities; Gave Christmas gifts to parishes and parishioners in the area to show gratitude in coordinating service provision to ensure production and business activities of the unit.

The total cost of the Electricity sector implementing the "Customer Appreciation Month" in 2020 in Nghe An province is 3,730 billion VND. Of which, Nghe An Electricity Company implemented 930 million VND, Northern Power Corporation coordinated with Hanoi Power Corporation to implement the program "Giving trust and sending love" to donate 40 sets of computers to schools and 10 motorboats to Thanh Chuong district worth 700 million VND; Vietnam Electricity Group donated a classroom project at Nghia Loc 2 School, Nghia Dan district worth 2.1 billion VND.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Loi - Deputy Director of Nghe An Electricity Company said: "In the past time, all units under the Company have made efforts to improve service quality, perform well in expressing gratitude and sharing difficulties with customers... Organizing annual "Customer Gratitude Month" activities will bring the image of the Electricity industry closer and more connected to the community, improve the quality of customer service, and send gratitude to customers using electricity in the whole province".

Also in December, Nghe An Power Company launched the "6th EVN Pink Week" with the enthusiastic participation of the unit's employees. As a result, on December 9, 2020, at the headquarters of Nghe An Power Company, more than 150 employees donated blood, collecting more than 120 units of blood, contributing to helping poor patients regain their lives.

In the coming time, Nghe An Power Company will continue to implement innovative programs in business and customer service; taking customers as the center to build a professional, civilized, and active corporate image in community and social security activities.
