Nghe An Power Company: Many practical activities to show gratitude to customers.
(Baonghean.vn) - With the message "Joining hands to support people in Central Vietnam affected by natural disasters and floods in 2020," Nghe An Power Company has implemented a "Customer Appreciation Month" with many practical activities, aiming to create connections and help people overcome difficulties, quickly stabilize production, business activities and life.
The annual "Customer Appreciation Month" program is one of the important year-end activities of Nghe An Power Company. This is also a practical activity to celebrate the 66th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnamese Electricity Industry (December 21, 1954 - December 21, 2020). In response to this program, the units under Nghe An Power Company have simultaneously implemented "Customer Appreciation Month" activities in a practical, appropriate, and impactful manner.

The "Remembering Our Roots" program was implemented in Dien Chau district with activities including giving gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Don in Dien Quang commune and families of policy beneficiaries, as well as families of cadres and workers in the electricity sector whose relatives are martyrs.
The "Free Substation Cleaning" program has been actively and effectively implemented for more than 25 large customers throughout the province. These customers have acknowledged the electricity sector's support during the difficult period affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The "Lighting Up Rural Roads" program is being implemented on 7 roads in the districts and towns of Anh Son, Ky Son, Nam Dan, Nghia Dan, Thai Hoa town, Thanh Chuong, Tan Ky, and Yen Thanh, installing power lines and streetlights to bring light to village roads, contributing to socio-economic development and the construction of new rural areas in the region.
Through this year's "Lighting Up Hope" program, Nghe An Power Company awarded 30 scholarships to underprivileged students who have overcome difficulties at schools in remote areas.

The program, which includes installing lighting for medical facilities and schools, supporting the repair and upgrading of household electrical systems, replacing wiring after the meter, replacing light bulbs, providing financial assistance for repairing damaged household appliances, and offering free labor for installing wiring after the meter for customers, was implemented for 184 customers, including schools in remote and flood-affected areas, as well as poor households, single-parent families, and families receiving government assistance.
Ms. Lu Thi Thi from Cau Da hamlet, Yen Hop commune (Quy Hop district) emotionally shared: “The electrical wiring system in my house was damaged and unsafe, but due to difficult family circumstances, I didn't have the money to replace it. Now, thanks to the help of the Electricity Department, they have replaced the wiring and even replaced the light bulbs with energy-saving ones. I feel very happy and relieved. Thank you to the Electricity Department for their care and assistance.”

To show appreciation to its customers, Nghe An Power Company also sent thank-you messages via SMS, Zalo, and email to all customers; organized meetings with partners and local authorities; and presented Christmas gifts to parishes and parishioners in the area to express gratitude for their cooperation in providing services that ensure the company's production and business operations.
The total cost of the "Customer Appreciation Month" in Nghe An province in 2020 was 3.73 billion VND. Of this, Nghe An Power Company contributed 930 million VND; the Northern Power Corporation, in coordination with Hanoi Power Corporation, implemented the "Giving Trust, Sending Love" program, donating 40 computer sets to schools and 10 motorboats to Thanh Chuong district, worth 700 million VND; and Vietnam Electricity Group donated a classroom building at Nghia Loc 2 School in Nghia Dan district, worth 2.1 billion VND.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Loi, Deputy Director of Nghe An Power Company, said: “In the past, all units under the Company have strived to improve service quality and effectively express gratitude and share difficulties with customers… Organizing annual “Customer Appreciation Month” activities will bring the image of the power industry closer to the community, improve customer service quality, and express gratitude to electricity users throughout the province.”
Also in December, Nghe An Power Company launched the "6th EVN Pink Week" with the enthusiastic participation of its employees. As a result, on December 9, 2020, at the headquarters of Nghe An Power Company, more than 150 employees donated blood, collecting over 120 units of blood, contributing to helping poor patients regain their lives.
In the coming period, Nghe An Power Company will continue to implement innovative programs in business and customer service; putting customers at the center to build a professional, civilized, and positive corporate image in community and social welfare activities.
