On the morning of January 15th, Nghe An Power Company held a conference to summarize its production and business activities in 2024 and to implement tasks and plans for 2025.
Attending the conference were: Mr. Vu Anh Phuong - Deputy General Director of the Northern Power Corporation; Ms. Phan Thi Hoan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Enterprise Bloc Party Committee; and Mr. Pham Van Hoa - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade.

In 2024, Nghe An Power Company made efforts, demonstrated creativity, overcame difficulties, and implemented many synchronized solutions to overcome challenges and successfully complete assigned tasks, leaving many important marks.
From the beginning of the year, Nghe An Power Company identified its most important task for 2024 as ensuring a safe and stable electricity supply to meet the needs of socio-economic development and people's daily lives, amidst rising electricity demand due to the continued economic recovery and strong development of industrial zones in the area. This is especially important during periods of prolonged intense heat and heavy rains and floods in the region...
Accordingly, the company has implemented many synchronized solutions to ensure a safe and stable electricity supply. In 2024, the commercial electricity output reached 5.1 billion kWh; the maximum capacity of the Nghe An power grid was 1,106 MW, an increase of 19.05% compared to 2023. The reliability of electricity supply has been continuously improved. Nghe An Power Company has also implemented many cost-saving measures in all its operations. Electricity services are becoming increasingly innovative, convenient, and professional.
Currently, Nghe An Power Company provides electricity to 1,082,927 customers and is striving every day to improve service quality, "Putting customers at the center of all activities". In 2024, the cumulative losses of the entire company reached 5.33%/5.45% of the assigned plan, 0.62% lower than the same period and 0.12% lower than the plan assigned by the General Corporation.
Alongside achieving production and business targets and improving customer service, Nghe An Power Company focuses on promoting activities to raise awareness about the economical, safe, and efficient use of electricity among customers and the community, receiving the support of the people and businesses.
In 2024, the Northern Power Corporation and Nghe An Power Company implemented the construction of 38 projects with a total investment of over 300 billion VND, ensuring the progress and quality of the projects.
In particular, emphasis will be placed on investing in power infrastructure projects to meet the load demands of industrial zones and to supply electricity to mountainous areas, border regions, and islands; contributing to ensuring a safe and stable electricity supply, improving the reliability of electricity supply, and serving the socio-economic development and daily lives of the people throughout the province.
Nghe An Power Company has closely followed the project, striving to overcome all difficulties and focusing on completing the construction works to ensure quality and provide electricity to people in mountainous and border areas so they can celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake 2025.
Furthermore, Nghe An Power Company is actively and vigorously implementing and building a corporate culture during the digital transformation period, as well as a culture of occupational safety and health. Digitalization and its applications have been implemented in almost all areas of production, business, and grid operation. The company has completed data digitization as directed by the parent company, digitizing electricity purchase and sale contracts, standardizing customer information, and standardizing substation information.
At the same time, Nghe An Power Company takes care of the lives of its employees; actively participates in social welfare activities, supports people affected by natural disasters, and together with the Party Committee and the government of Nghe An province, makes important contributions to the completion of the 500kV circuit 3 transmission line project.

By 2025, Nghe An Power Company aims to continue operating the power system safely and stably, ensuring sufficient electricity supply for socio-economic development. Specifically, commercial electricity output is targeted at over 5.7 billion Wh, an increase of 12.41% compared to 2024; the average selling price is targeted at 2,123.95 VND/kWh, an increase of 77.81 VND/kWh compared to 2024; and the daily loss rate is targeted at 4.98%, a decrease of 0.35% compared to 2024, with a target of 4.91%.

At the same time, it was emphasized that in 2025 and the following years, many unpredictable and sudden problems are predicted to occur that may affect power supply capacity, such as droughts, prolonged heatwaves, and power plant failures. Therefore, Nghe An Power Company needs to have flexible management in the field of electricity distribution, ensuring a balance between electricity supply for residential use and electricity supply for industrial production and other services, ensuring electricity supply.
Nghe An Power Company needs to focus its leadership and guidance on striving to comprehensively fulfill the targets and tasks set for 2025; operate the power system safely and stably, ensuring sufficient electricity supply for socio-economic development and the daily lives of the people.
At the same time, the company needs to implement solutions to improve customer service; rectify and enhance awareness and ensure workplace safety; save costs and increase revenue; improve production and business efficiency and labor productivity; and accelerate digital transformation in all areas of operation...
The company needs to focus its leadership and guidance on ensuring the progress and quality of investment and construction projects. In addition, the company needs to innovate and be creative in training and developing human resources, improving the quality of its workforce, and strengthening corporate culture.
Looking ahead, during the upcoming Lunar New Year 2025, Nghe An Power Company needs to take concrete measures to ensure a stable and safe power supply for people to celebrate the New Year.
