Bac Irrigation Company Limited ensures irrigation for over 51,369 hectares of rice fields.
On the morning of May 9th, the Northern Irrigation Company Limited held a conference to summarize production activities in 2024 and plan production tasks for 2025.

The conference was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Long, the head of the company, and attended by representatives from the affiliated irrigation enterprises.
In 2024, Bac Nghe An Irrigation Company Limited successfully completed its task of managing and effectively operating the irrigation system, contributing to ensuring water resources for agricultural production and daily life in the area.
The company currently manages and operates 23 large and small reservoirs and dams, including many key reservoirs such as Vuc Mau, Ve Vung, and Xuan Duong. In addition, the company manages 6 headworks of large drainage systems in Dien Chau and Quynh Luu, along with 56 km of main canals in Do Luong. Over the past year, the company ensured irrigation for more than 51,369 hectares of cultivated land in 4 districts and 1 town, and drained nearly 18,283 hectares of urban residential areas.

To improve the efficiency of irrigation, the company has proactively strengthened management and rationally exploited water resources; promptly repaired deteriorated items; coordinated with local authorities to dredge canals; and educated people on water conservation and the protection of irrigation works. During the rainy season, the company safely operated reservoirs, especially the Vuc Mau reservoir, proactively regulating water levels to prevent flooding in downstream areas.
Alongside fulfilling its professional duties, the company always prioritizes the well-being of its employees, ensuring 100% employment stability. Average monthly income reached 7.1 million VND per person, exceeding the target set in the 2024 Employee Conference Resolution. Social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance benefits are all fully implemented.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Long, in charge of the North Nghe An Irrigation Company, stated: "By 2025, the company aims to provide irrigation and drainage services for over 70,347 hectares, including 52,063 hectares of agricultural land and 18,283 hectares of residential and urban areas. In addition, the company will continue to strive to maintain stable employment for all workers, increase average income, and constantly improve salary systems and welfare policies to ensure full benefits for employees."
