Than Quang Ninh FC striker Dyachenko's celebration was believed to be a provocation to Ho Chi Minh City FC's Acting President Le Cong Vinh.

On the afternoon of November 19th, a match between home team Ho Chi Minh City FC and Than Quang Ninh FC took place at Thong Nhat Stadium in Round 25 of the V-League 2017. The team, led by Acting Chairman Le Cong Vinh, had officially secured their place in the league and no longer had any goals to strive for, but they still played with great determination, perhaps due to the arrival of coach Toshiya Miura – who is expected to lead Ho Chi Minh City FC from the 2018 season onwards.

Coach Miura's eyes widened in surprise at Than Quang Ninh's comeback victory.

After the first 15 minutes of the first half, Ho Chi Minh City unexpectedly took the lead against their higher-rated opponent Than Quang Ninh with goals from Minh Trung and Victor. However, the brilliance of foreign player Dyachenko in the remainder of the match helped Than Quang Ninh stage a spectacular comeback to win 4-2 against Cong Vinh's team.

Along with Patiyo's goal, Dyachenko shone with a hat-trick (goals in the 24th, 39th, and 88th minutes), prompting both coach Miura and the large crowd at Thong Nhat Stadium to applaud the Than Quang Ninh player. But in the VIP stands of Thong Nhat Stadium, perhaps the most disappointed person was Acting Chairman Le Cong Vinh of Ho Chi Minh City FC.

Striker Dyachenko seemed to be taunting Cong Vinh, while Cong Vinh covered his face in the VIP stands.

Cong Vinh covered his face and looked extremely disappointed as Dyachenko scored the second goal in the 39th minute, equalizing the score at 2-2 for Than Quang Ninh. On the pitch, Dyachenko seemed to be celebrating in a way to "taunt" the president of Ho Chi Minh City FC, as the Than Quang Ninh player used his hands like binoculars pointing towards the VIP stands where Cong Vinh was sitting.

In the early stages of the 2017 V-League season, it was Cong Vinh who brought Dyachenko to Ho Chi Minh City FC with high expectations. However, during the mid-season transfer window, Cong Vinh terminated Dyachenko's contract to bring in striker Da Sylva – who was dubbed the "Lukaku of the V-League". His hat-trick against Ho Chi Minh City FC on November 19th was a response from the 1983-born striker after being dismissed by Cong Vinh.

Speaking to the media after the match, TP HCM's interim coach, Lu Dinh Tuan, commented on Dyachenko's performance: "Dyachenko had an outstanding performance to help Than Quang Ninh come from behind to win against TP HCM. We have no regrets; we are happy for him. Because perhaps he wasn't suited to playing for TP HCM, but it's normal for him to shine when he comes to Than Quang Ninh..."
