13 names said goodbye to Ho Chi Minh City Club according to Cong Vinh's blood change plan. |
Explaining the reason for parting with a series of players, Acting Chairman Le Cong Vinh said: “The number of players who were released were not only poor in skills but also lacked effort in training. It is better to push young players to replace them than to keep them. In the case of Nguyen Anh Tai, he proactively asked to leave. I plan to bring 3 to 4 more players from the youth team to the first team.”
Besides saying goodbye to a series of names, Cong Vinh also revealed the personnel plan: “Basically, we have agreed on terms with coach Toshiya Miura as well as Tran Phi Son. Now is not the time to announce new contracts right away. We plan to bring in 10 new faces.”
Ho Chi Minh City Club previously recruited two new players, goalkeeper Thanh Diep (XSKT Can Tho) and defender Sam Ngoc Duc (Hanoi FC)./.
