Electric pole on fire at night in Vinh city
People panicked when an electric pole caught fire and exploded during the night.
At around 9:30 p.m. on February 4, an electric pole on Ho Sy Duong Street (Hung Binh Ward, Vinh City) suddenly caught fire and emitted many explosions.
According to many witnesses, while many families were watching TV, they suddenly heard an explosion. When they ran out to see, they saw the electric pole on fire.
At the scene, the top of the electric pole, where many electric meters were installed, caught fire and exploded. Right below, a white car owned by a local resident was parked and caught in falling sparks. Due to fear of being electrocuted and the explosion, the local residents did not dare to put out the fire but had to call the authorities.
