The Countdown Night 2026 in Da Nang took place at various locations along the Han River, featuring famous artists and a vibrant atmosphere.
Da Nang City will organize a five-day New Year's Eve celebration from December 30, 2025 to January 3, 2026, featuring a series of cultural, artistic, sporting, and culinary activities taking place on both banks of the Han River and at many famous tourist destinations, creating a large-scale festival atmosphere during the New Year's holiday.
The highlight of the series of events is the Countdown 2026 light and music festival at East Sea Park, Larue LumiFest Da Nang, taking place from 7 PM on December 31, 2025. The program features a spectacular multi-dimensional laser show, combined with modern music and stage effects, providing an impressive visual and auditory experience for the audience.
Parallel to the central area, the "Harmony Shines Bright" countdown program will take place from 9 PM on December 31, 2025, at Tam Thanh Beach Square, Quang Phu Ward, featuring DJs, modern dance groups, and a vibrant countdown moment.
Meanwhile, the "Hoi An - Welcoming the New Year 2026" program, held at An Hoi Sculpture Garden (Hoi An) from 8:30 PM on December 31, 2025 to 12:30 AM on January 1, 2026, offered a unique atmosphere of international music and costume exchange.
Within the framework of the festival, the focal point of the experiential space is concentrated at the East Bank Park of the Dragon Bridge and Bach Dang Walking Street, where the "Da Nang - Welcoming the New Year 2026" Boulevard takes place from December 30th to January 1st. This area is organized as a "creative festival axis" with modern dance activities, artistic interactions, and community-connecting musical performances.
Da Nang will also host its first-ever night run, "Lighting Up the Han River – Running Towards the Future," a 5km race taking place from 10 PM to midnight on December 31, 2025, along with the Cheer Fest food court on the east bank of the Dragon Bridge, running from December 30, 2025 to January 3, 2026, offering diverse culinary, shopping, and entertainment experiences for locals and tourists.
In terms of performing arts, Countdown 2026 in Da Nang brings together a lineup of prominent artists from music nights and events within the Larue Lumifest framework, with rapper Den (Den Vau) as the headliner, along with singers Bich Phuong, Isaac, LyLy, Juky San, combined with DJ KS, MC Hype Keyz and MC Quang Bao, delivering a musical atmosphere ranging from soulful to explosive.
In addition, the Da Nang Concert 2026 “Endless Flow” will take place on January 1, 2026 at the Da Nang Museum, featuring leading Vietnamese opera singers and a contemporary symphony orchestra.
