Elderly women and men flock to listen to a talk about 'family planning'.

(Baonghean.vn) - Hundreds of people crowded into the village's cultural center to listen to media presentations on population and family planning.The event was organized by the Population and Family Planning Center of Con Cuong district on the morning of August 9th at Lien Dinh village, Chi Khe commune (Con Cuong).

The event attracted hundreds of participants. For three hours, officials from the Con Cuong District Population Center disseminated knowledge about population aging and its consequences. The main focus of the presentation was on safe contraception methods, a topic not all of reproductive age are familiar with.

Besides women of childbearing age, many men also participated, including even elderly people over 70 years old. By skillfully addressing issues that the local community has long considered "sensitive," the population control communicators created an open and relaxed atmosphere for the communication session.

"Although I'm no longer of childbearing age, I want to share this knowledge with my children, grandchildren, and anyone who doesn't have the opportunity to attend population control officer's presentations," a woman in her seventies candidly shared after participating in the information session.
