Old women and men flock to listen to 'family planning'

(Baonghean.vn) - Hundreds of people packed the village's Cultural House to listen to the media about population and family planning.organized by the Center for Population and Family Planning of Con Cuong district on the morning of August 9 at Lien Dinh village, Chi Khe commune (Con Cuong).

attracted hundreds of participants. In 3 hours, the staff of the Con Cuong District Population Center disseminated knowledge about population aging and its consequences. The main content of the propaganda session was still about safe contraceptive methods, which not everyone of childbearing age understands.

In addition to women of childbearing age, many men also participated, including seniors over 70 years old. By skillfully presenting issues that the local community has long considered "sensitive", the population propagandists brought an open and comfortable atmosphere to the communication session.

“Although I am no longer of childbearing age, I will share this knowledge with my children and grandchildren and those who do not have the opportunity to listen to population officers disseminate knowledge.” – an elderly woman in her seventies frankly shared after participating in the communication session.
