Voters need concrete measures to address the problem.
(Baonghean.vn) - Opinions and comments from voters in the province regarding the quality of questioning and answering by delegates at the 6th session of the Provincial People's Council on the issues of hydropower resettlement and the quality of electricity for rural areas.
Voter Dinh Cao Thai - Hamlet 6, Nghi Lien Commune:The agency providing the explanation has not yet offered a feasible solution.
Having followed the 6th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council, I found that the issues discussed were comprehensive and in line with the voters' wishes; the questions focused on the core issues that voters were concerned about.

Regarding the questions raised by the Director of the Department of Industry and Trade concerning hydropower, power grid infrastructure, and rural electrification, I agree with the assessment that the Department and the Electricity sector have made efforts to overcome limitations to meet the electricity needs of the people and have achieved many important results; however, many shortcomings still remain.
However, in my opinion, some of the solutions offered by the Department of Industry and Trade in their explanatory response are too general and superficial, failing to pinpoint the specific causes and satisfy the concerns and aspirations of the people. In reality, people's electricity consumption is increasing, while investment in infrastructure and the upgrading and expansion of power stations in some localities have not been adequately ensured.
Therefore, voters also hope that in the coming time, the Department of Industry and Trade and the Electricity sector will work together with the people to overcome difficulties through specific measures such as accelerating the handover of the power grid and installing more substations to ensure the right to use electricity for the people; especially people in rural and mountainous areas.

Sharing the same opinion as Mr. Dinh Cao Thai, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang from Block 2, Con Cuong town, also stated that during the questioning session on hydropower resettlement and the quality of electricity in rural areas, he found many practical and relevant issues, directly related to the lives of the people and the development of the province, to be very important. However, Mr. Quang felt that the responses from some departments and agencies to the voters were still too general, lacking specific details and solutions for the future.
"I see that departments and agencies make many promises, but after a period of implementation, those promises are not very practical. Therefore, I hope that departments and agencies will fulfill whatever promises they have made," Mr. Quang suggested.
At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang also expressed his wish that the contents discussed and decided upon by the People's Council would be quickly implemented and put into practice.
Voter Ho Tien Thanh from Cau Giat town, Quynh Luu district:XI believe there are more specific solutions for the development of hydropower projects.

Having followed the questioning session at the Provincial People's Council meeting on the afternoon of July 19th regarding hydropower resettlement and the quality of electricity for rural residents, I fully agree with the answers given by the members of the Provincial People's Council.
However, regarding the issue of resettlement for hydropower projects, I hope that the Provincial People's Council will consider and have more specific solutions for the development of hydropower projects to both develop the national power grid and ensure the livelihoods of the people; instead of building many hydropower plants indiscriminately, there should be a selective approach and assessment of the actual situation to develop effectively.
Our people hope that the electricity sector will invest comprehensively, constantly innovate its operations, and upgrade substations in areas with weak power supply, especially in mountainous and rural regions; electricity prices must adhere to the State-regulated price list; and we particularly request that the electricity sector promptly resolve issues for people regarding the repayment of investment capital for the power grid before the handover to the electricity sector for management.
