(Baonghean.vn) - Comments from voters in the province on the quality of questioning and answering questions of delegates at the 6th session of the Provincial People's Council on the issue of hydropower resettlement and the quality of electricity in rural areas.
Voter Dinh Cao Thai - Hamlet 6, Nghi Lien commune:The reporting agency has not yet come up with a feasible solution.
Through following the 6th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council, I saw that the contents were discussed fully, in accordance with voters' wishes; questions were focused on the issues voters were concerned about.

Regarding the questioning content of the Director of the Department of Industry and Trade regarding the issue of hydropower, grid infrastructure, and rural electricity, I agree with the assessment that in the recent past, the Department as well as the Electricity industry have made efforts to overcome limitations to meet the electricity needs of the people and achieved many important results, but there are still many shortcomings.
However, in the explanation part, some solutions that the Department of Industry and Trade has proposed are still general in nature and have not gone into detail to point out specific causes, satisfying the thoughts and aspirations of the people. In fact, people's electricity consumption is increasing while investment in infrastructure and upgrading and adding power stations in some localities is still not guaranteed.
Therefore, voters also hope that in the coming time, the Department of Industry and Trade and the Electricity sector will accompany the people to remove difficulties with specific measures such as speeding up the handover of the power grid, installing more power stations to ensure the right to use electricity for the people; especially people in rural and mountainous areas.

Sharing the same opinion with Mr. Dinh Cao Thai, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang in Block 2, Con Cuong town also said that in the question-and-answer session on the content of hydropower resettlement and the quality of electricity for daily life in rural areas, I found that many practical contents, close to reality and all are current issues, directly related to the lives of the people and the development of the province were raised by the delegates in the hall. However, Mr. Quang said that the answers of some departments and branches to voters were still general, not going into specifics, as well as upcoming solutions.
"I see that departments and agencies make a lot of promises, but after a period of implementation, the promises are not very practical. Therefore, I hope that departments and agencies will do what they promise," Mr. Quang suggested.
At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang also expressed his hope that the contents discussed and resolved by the People's Council would be quickly implemented and put into practice.

After following the question and answer session in the Provincial People's Council meeting on the afternoon of July 19 on the content of hydropower resettlement and the quality of electricity for daily life in rural areas, I agree and highly agree with the answers of the Provincial People's Council members.
However, regarding the issue of hydropower resettlement, I hope the Provincial People's Council needs to consider and have more specific solutions for the development of hydropower projects to both develop the national power source and ensure the lives of the people; we should not massively build many hydropower plants but need to be selective and assess the actual situation to develop effectively.
We, the people, wish that the Electricity sector needs to invest synchronously, always innovate operations, upgrade transformer stations in areas with weak power sources, especially in mountainous and rural areas; electricity prices must comply with the State's regulated price list; especially request that the Electricity sector needs to promptly resolve for the people the issue of repaying investment capital for the power grid before the time of handover to the Electricity sector for management.
