Continuing to implement the program of meeting voters before the 3rd session of the 14th National Assembly, on the morning of April 27, in Mon Son commune (Con Cuong), National Assembly delegate Nguyen Huu Cau - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department had a meeting with voters of the communes: Mon Son, Luc Da and Yen Khe. Attending were representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors and leaders of Con Cuong district. |
On behalf of the National Assembly Delegation, Mr. Nguyen Huu Cau informed voters about the expected agenda of the 3rd session of the 14th National Assembly.
During the convening session, scheduled from May 22 to June 20, the National Assembly will continue to decide on important national issues, listen to the Prime Minister's supplementary report on the implementation of the 2016 economic and state budget plan and the implementation of the economic and state budget plan in the first months of 2017, and listen to the President ratify the Protocol on the border and boundary markers between Vietnam and Laos.

At the conference, voters expressed their high agreement with the planned agenda of the upcoming session of the 14th National Assembly, and at the same time made specific recommendations on a number of issues of great concern in the area.
Voter La Van Linh in Co Phat village (Mon Son) on behalf of Dan Lai people made a recommendation to the National Assembly delegates: Co Phat is located in the core zone of Pu Mat National Park, land reclamation and development for production is very limited. Lacking land for production, the lives of Dan Lai people here face many difficulties, many households are hungry, requesting relevant levels, departments and branches to consider, resolve, and create sources of income for people to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty.

Besides, the road to the village is still difficult, there is no electricity, so it affects all aspects of life. "It is necessary to bring the light of civilization to the core area of Pu Mat National Park, creating conditions for the Dan Lai ethnic group to develop" - Mr. La Van Linh suggested.
Also making recommendations on policies for the Dan Lai ethnic group, voter Le Thanh An - Principal of Muong Qua High School said: Dan Lai children have not received much attention, as shown in the admission to schools and the enrollment quota at university level. Therefore, in the coming time, the State and the Education sector need to pay more attention to the Dan Lai ethnic group, including the admission and job placement after graduation.

At the conference, voters of Con Cuong district also proposed many other specific issues such as: Upgrading the road from the commune center to Lang Yen village, investing in building a hard bridge across Giang river, repairing and building new suspension bridges for people in the area, supporting cement for rural roads, researching the relocation of the waste treatment area in Yen Khe commune...
In addition, voters also made recommendations on many issues related to mechanisms and policies such as: Loans and housing for poor households, policies for people who have participated in frontline labor and people with revolutionary contributions; overcoming shortcomings in ethnic policies and policies for boarding students; supporting tools and means for police officers...

National Assembly Delegate Nguyen Huu Cau acknowledged and accepted voters' opinions. Regarding issues under the authority of the provincial and district levels, he requested representatives of the Departments of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Industry and Trade; Transport, the Ethnic Minorities Committee and leaders of Con Cuong district to explain.
Regarding issues under the authority of National Assembly deputies, comrade Nguyen Huu Cau explained in detail and promised to request related ministries, branches and provincial departments to consider and submit them to the National Assembly for resolution.
