Cua Lo voters petition the National Assembly for solutions to control land prices
(Baonghean.vn) - Voters of Cua Lo town proposed that the National Assembly have solutions to control land prices, overcome the situation of pushing up land prices causing virtual "fever" in the market like in the past, affecting those who really need to use land.

Continuing the program of meeting voters before the 3rd session of the 15th National Assembly, on the afternoon of May 4, in Nghi Tan ward, Cua Lo town, National Assembly deputies: Nguyen Van Chi - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee; Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province had a meeting with voters of Nghi Tan ward and representatives of leaders of wards in the town.
After listening to the delegatesNational AssemblyAnnouncing the expected program and content of the 3rd session of the 15th National Assembly (scheduled to open on the morning of May 23 and close on June 17), many voters reflected and expressed many thoughts and aspirations to the National Assembly, the Government and all levels and sectors.

VotersNguyen Hong Son (Nghi Tan ward) expressed his concern and worry about the corruption situation, suggesting that the National Assembly study to find more effective solutions, including strict handling, creating deterrence and thoroughly recovering corrupt assets, avoiding the situation of "ignorance" of the law.
Pointing out the fact that land management and use are currently facing many shortcomings with a series of issues such as land appropriation; land allocation, land valuation, land bidding, land leasing without authority; unsynchronized planning and land exploitation, causing land "fever" and land corruption; voter Nguyen Hong Son proposed that the National Assembly study and amend the current Land Law to overcome the above shortcomings.

Also concerned about the land issue, voter Hoang Thi Hai Yen (Nghi Tan ward) asked the National Assembly to have solutions to control land prices and handle the current situation of "suspended" projects and slow-progressing projects.
Many voters also reflected and proposed that the National Assembly pay attention to policies for soldiers who participated in the resistance war against American imperialism and have not yet enjoyed the regime of wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and Agent Orange victims; and improve the regime of worshiping martyrs.

Voters also recommended that competent authorities provide insurance for people with revolutionary contributions; raise allowances for those working at the hamlet level; and have a policy of exempting tuition fees for junior high school students.
Some inappropriate opinions on education and training innovation and traffic infrastructure were also mentioned by voters.

At the end of the meeting with voters, representatives of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and Cua Lo town received and explained a number of issues within their authority.
Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province also acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and affirmed that the opinions and suggestions of voters were very valid.

Delegate Vo Thi Minh Sinh also said that many of the contents raised by voters of Cua Lo town at this voter contact conference were also issues and common concerns of voters in many localities that were received by the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and reported to the National Assembly Standing Committee, especially related to anti-corruption work; slow-progressing projects; and land issues.
These are also issues that the Party, National Assembly, and Government are concerned about, and to continue to create positive changes, there needs to be a process of research and revision; therefore, we continue to hope that voters and people will accompany, offer ideas, and contribute more wisdom.
